Razzle & Dazzle Dandy's World Guide
Razzle & Dazzle are a unique pair of playable Toons in Dandy's World, designated SC-008A and SC-008B respectively. They debuted during the game's Alpha Release on June 14, 2024, and are modeled after the iconic comedy and tragedy theater masks that symbolize the two fundamental genres of dramatic literature. As the only Toon in the game with two heads and two distinct consciousnesses sharing a single body, Razzle & Dazzle occupy a one-of-a-kind niche in the roster. They can be purchased from Dandy's Store for 2,000 Ichor, making them the most expensive Toon that costs Ichor alone, though before v0.3 they held the title of most expensive non-Main Toon outright before being overtaken by Glisten. Their gameplay revolves around the Passive Ability Comedy/Tragedy, which fundamentally alters their stat profile every time the team descends to a new floor. On odd-numbered floors, Razzle takes the lead with 5-star Movement Speed and 1-star Extraction Speed, transforming them into a top-tier distractor capable of kiting virtually any Twisted in the game. On even-numbered floors, Dazzle assumes control with 5-star Extraction Speed and 1-star Movement Speed, turning them into one of the fastest extractors among non-Main Characters. This constant alternation between extreme builds creates a hybrid playstyle that demands adaptability and team coordination, as Dazzle's abysmal mobility on even floors makes solo play dangerously risky. Razzle & Dazzle reward experienced players who can plan ahead and adjust their approach with each floor transition. Their 3 hearts give them slightly more survivability than comparable distractors like Pebble, and their ability to access Main Character-level stats in both Movement Speed and Extraction Speed — albeit never simultaneously — represents enormous potential for teams that can cover their weaknesses. They are the fourth tallest Toon in the game and stand out visually with their conjoined twin design, split coloring, and theatrical scarf-like neck ribbons. Their dual nature extends beyond gameplay into their personalities, relationships, and even their animations, making them one of the most distinctive and complex Toons in all of Dandy's World.

Strategy
Razzle & Dazzle's passive ability is Comedy/Tragedy.
Razzle & Dazzle offer a dynamic, alternating playstyle built around their Passive Ability Comedy/Tragedy. Their fluctuating stats unlock significant potential, allowing them to swing between two extreme builds as they alternate between distraction and extraction roles across floors. In the sections below, Razzle refers to odd-numbered floors (speed mode) and Dazzle refers to even-numbered floors (extraction mode). Understanding this rhythm and planning around it is the single most important factor in playing Razzle & Dazzle effectively.
Their Passive Ability swaps their strengths between Extraction and Distraction/Survival on alternating floors. Razzle's 5-star Movement Speed is perfect for kiting Twisteds on odd floors or duo-distracting alongside Pebble and Bassie, while Dazzle's high Extraction Speed excels at completing Machines on even floors. Combining Skill Check and Extraction Speed, Dazzle (tied with Yatta and Squirm) is the third fastest extractor overall and the fastest non-Main Character extractor without Trinket assistance. The primary drawback is Dazzle's extremely low Movement Speed, which is significantly below that of comparable extractors, alongside Razzle's underwhelming Extraction Speed. Because of this disparity, it is strongly recommended to play Razzle & Dazzle in a team setting rather than solo, as Dazzle's speed deficit can be fatal when chased by a Twisted, and machines take roughly 1 minute during odd floors. Their ability lets them access the most powerful Main Character stats on each floor, breaking up the gameplay rhythm but at a considerable opportunity cost. Players who anticipate floor transitions — stocking up on Movement Speed items before an even floor and positioning near Machines before an odd floor ends — will extract far more value from this duo than those who react after the swap happens.
For item management, Razzle & Dazzle can effectively use anything. Healing items are always beneficial given their 3 hearts, which provide slightly more survivability than Pebble's 2 hearts but still demand caution. Collecting Movement Speed and Stamina items during Razzle's turns helps make Dazzle's turns safer, and this proactive gathering strategy is essential since Dazzle's low mobility makes item collection on even floors slow and risky. Extraction Speed Candies collected during odd floors can further amplify Dazzle's already formidable machine-clearing speed on even floors.
Trinket selection is the most critical factor in optimizing Razzle & Dazzle's ability. Movement Speed Trinkets (such as Ribbon Spool, Clown Horn, etc.) are highly recommended since they benefit both modes — improving Razzle's already excellent kiting potential while making Dazzle's vulnerable even floors more survivable. Extraction Trinkets (Vee's Remote, Magnifying Glass, etc.) can further enhance their machine-clearing capability. While there is no single best Trinket setup, running two speed Trinkets or one speed and one extraction Trinket generally helps round out one of their roles. Trinkets that synergize with each other yield the best results. For distraction builds, Dog Plush paired with Clown Horn gives Razzle the highest Movement Speed, allowing him to out-walk almost all Twisteds and match Twisted Pebble's walk speed. For mobility builds, Pink Bow with Ribbon Spool significantly helps Dazzle's lackluster run speed, and alternatives like Speedy Shoes, Vanity Mirror for Panic Mode traversal, or Train Whistle for countering Twisted Finn and Twisted Vee are all viable. For extraction builds, Magnifying Glass takes full advantage of Dazzle's extreme Extraction Speed and 3-star Skill Check, and can be paired with Vee's Remote, Participation Award, or Train Whistle.
Their ideal team support is another distractor who covers Dazzle's floors. In this configuration, the Razzle & Dazzle player might equip Clown Horn and Dog Plush while the partner distractor takes Ribbon Spool instead of Clown Horn. This setup leverages the duo-distraction meta while benefiting from Razzle & Dazzle's extra heart compared to Pebble and their superior extraction during downtime. Drawbacks include extremely limited survivability if the partner distractor goes down, an inability to serve as backup distractor when low on Health, and reduced opportunities for item gathering that downtime normally allows.
Razzle's speed is sufficient to handle all individual Twisteds (including Twisted Pebble, though multi-Twisted encounters can get tricky), so players may choose to equip Trinkets that exclusively benefit Dazzle. This approach sacrifices some of Razzle's ceiling but ensures Dazzle's even-floor turns are less perilous. Overall, Razzle & Dazzle are best suited for experienced players who can adapt to their shifting stat profile across floors and who play in coordinated teams where their weaknesses can be covered by dedicated teammates.
Appearance
Personality
Razzle and Dazzle possess extremely different personalities that perfectly represent their respective theater masks.
Razzle is an excitable, friendly, and outgoing Toon. He appears eager to spend time with others and enjoys the spotlight. When asked how he is doing, he replies with an enthusiastic 'Couldn't be better!' which reflects his optimistic, happy-go-lucky nature. He is always bursting with energy, deeply curious about the world around him, and willing to defend and stand up for his brother. He also makes efforts to cheer up other Toons when they are feeling down. Razzle is best buddies with Finn and loves his jokes, and his extroverted, impulsive nature aligns with his high Movement Speed on odd floors.
Dazzle, on the other hand, is a gloomy, pessimistic Toon with a negative outlook and a slightly depressive personality. He tends to dismiss positive comments about himself — after being complimented by Boxten, Dazzle responds with 'I wish my best was enough...' He also displays signs of anxiety, as seen in his old extracting animation where he nervously looks to the side. Dazzle shows fear around Pebble and Coal in their interactions, suggesting an apparent fear of dogs. Despite his melancholy exterior, Dazzle is genuinely friendly and cares about other Toons' well-being. In his dialogue with Tisha, he acts concerned and tells her not to overwork herself. He is a member of Brightney's Book Club alongside Astro, enjoys astronomy, and seems to have a genuine friendship with Astro, stating that he enjoys his company.
Despite being so different, neither twin fights with the other, as described in their dialogue with Gigi. They are open and accepting of each other in spite of their opposing personalities.

Trivia
- Their displayed Movement Speed and Extraction Speed stats both show as 3 stars, but players never actually play with those base values. Their Passive Ability applies modifiers that shift these to effectively 1 or 5 stars.
- Specifically, Movement Speed is adjusted by plus or minus 5.00 and Extraction Speed by plus or minus 0.375, depending on the current floor.
- This means their base Extraction Speed is actually 1.125, equivalent to roughly 3.67 stars.
- They are the second Toon featured in a thumbnail not fleeing from a Twisted, instead shown standing beside Twisted Blot.
- Their name references the phrase 'razzle-dazzle,' meaning a showy or flashy performance. This fits their theatrical theme, as comedy and tragedy masks represent the two fundamental forms of dramatic literature.
- They are currently the only Toon in the game with two heads.
- Dazzle is the more popular of the two, as determined by a poll conducted in the BlushCrunch Discord server.
- Razzle and Finn are described as 'best buddies' in their dialogue. Razzle enjoys Finn's jokes, but Dazzle does not.
- Dazzle is a member of Brightney's Book Club alongside Astro. Razzle is not part of the club, as he reportedly falls asleep during gatherings.
- Razzle controls the fast movement on odd floors, while Dazzle handles fast extraction on even floors. This is confirmed through their interaction with Boxten and their separate extracting animations.
- This interaction also suggests that each twin can control the majority of their shared body, not just their respective side.
- Their distinct personalities serve as another clue: Razzle's extroverted, impulsive nature explains the high Movement Speed and low Extraction Speed, while Dazzle's shy yet calm and thoughtful demeanor accounts for the low Movement Speed but high Extraction Speed.
- Though unconfirmed, Dazzle appears to have a fear of dogs, based on his reactions during interactions with Pebble and Coal.
- Dazzle has an interest in astronomy, as shown in his interaction with Astro and an astronomy book found in their Roleplaying Mode room (presumably a gift from Astro).
- Dazzle seems to have a genuine friendship with Astro, stating that he enjoys his company.
- Both twins appear to be fans of Vee and her game show, as evidenced by a note addressed to Vee found in their Roleplaying Mode room and their interaction with her.
- Their designations are SC-008A (Razzle) and SC-008B (Dazzle), where SC stands for Side Character.
- Notably, they have separate experiment designations rather than sharing one. This likely reflects the fact that they are two distinct Toons with independent consciousnesses occupying the same body.
- Before v0.3, they held the title of most expensive non-Main Toon before being overtaken by Glisten.
- They remain the most expensive Toon purchasable with Ichor alone.
- They are the fourth tallest Toon, behind Flyte (first), Sprout (second), and Looey (third).
- They are among the few Toons with visible necks, alongside Brightney, Scraps, and Brusha.
- Qwel cited the dialogue between Goob and Razzle & Dazzle as one of their favorite new dialogues from v0.7.1.
- They share a friendship with Glisten, as noted in their dialogue.
- This is further supported by one of Glisten's letters, which states 'I guess Razzle and Dazzle are fine.'
- Razzle has a favorite dinosaur (the Stegosaurus), as mentioned in his interaction with Shelly. Dazzle's favorite dinosaur is not specified, but it could be a species of Sauropod.
- They are among the Toons whose Twisted counterpart lacks visible roaming or chasing animations in the main game, alongside Rodger, Blot, and Squirm.
- Based on their letter to Vee, Razzle appears to be right-handed and Dazzle left-handed (both by physical necessity), since each wrote a portion.
- This handedness is further suggested by their revamped extracting animations, where Razzle uses his right hand on odd floors and Dazzle uses his left on even floors.
- Qwel previously mentioned plans to rework their Passive Ability into a toggle ability, but this idea was ultimately scrapped.
- Combining Skill Check and Extraction Speed, Dazzle (tied with Yatta and Squirm) is the third fastest extractor overall and the fastest non-Main Character extractor without Trinket assistance.
- Razzle's stats nearly mirror Pebble's, differing only by 1 star in Stamina.
- They are one of only two Toons (alongside Dandy) without Head UGC items.
- While never mentioned by developers or in-universe, Razzle & Dazzle are anatomically dicephalic parapagus type conjoined twins.
- Based on Yatta and Razzle & Dazzle's interaction, it is implied that Dazzle dislikes attending parties due to the large crowds.
- They are among the first non-Main Toons to receive a Gamepass Skin, alongside Blot, Looey, Cosmo, and Yatta.
- They are the first and only Toon with two complete sets of animations that change between odd and even floors. They are also the only Toon with two distinct extracting animations.
- They are the third male Toon to appear on the game icon (excluding Dandy), following Sprout and Blot.
- Although not members of the Circus Troupe, Razzle & Dazzle share several thematic similarities with it.
- They are included in the Show-Time Cosmetic Pack.
- They are the first non-Main Toons to receive an optimized model (excluding Holiday Toons).
- They effectively have high Movement Speed (on odd floors) and high Extraction Speed (on even floors).
- They have a Passive Ability.
- Theater masks, which Razzle & Dazzle embody, thematically align with performance acts and stages, much like circus acts.
- They are capable distractors in practice.
- They are the first Toon to have both their normal and Twisted counterparts appear in the game's thumbnail, with Blot being the other.
- They appear alongside Twisted Blot in the v0.10 banner.
- Every thumbnail appearance of Razzle & Dazzle has been alongside a Circus Troupe member.
- They are the third Toon to perform extraction with one hand, after Cosmo and Vee.
- With 13 letters, they hold the longest name of any Toon (Soulvester is second with 10).
- They are the first Toon (outside of Alpha release) to appear on the game's icon without debuting in a specific update, followed by Astro and Shrimpo.
- Despite being conjoined twins, they do not blink independently.
- Although their pronouns are listed as he/him, Brightney uses 'they' to refer to Razzle in one interaction, which is likely an error.
- In all dialogues, Razzle speaks first before Dazzle. This is probably due to the formatting convention where Dazzle's lines are placed after Razzle's, separated by parentheses.
- If only Razzle speaks, Dazzle's dialogue displays as empty.
- This speaking pattern could also be viewed as a quirky twin tradition they consistently maintain.
- They are the only non-Main Character Toon to achieve 5-star Movement Speed.
- However, since this stat is not reflected in their listed stats and only applies half the time, it does not technically count as a permanent stat.
- This distinction also applies to Looey and Eclipse, whose Passives grant them approximately 5-star Movement Speed under specific conditions. Unlike Razzle & Dazzle, their boosts are percentage-based rather than exact stat matches, resulting in 1 extra walk speed unit and 5 extra run speed units.
- In a dialogue with Blot, Dazzle demonstrates partial understanding of Blot's speech, while Razzle cannot understand him at all.
- They are the only optimized Toons (excluding Event Toons) who did not receive a Skin in the 2025 Halloween Event.
- Razzle loves the Stegosaurus as stated in his interaction with Shelly.
