Strategy
Vee is best understood as a extractor supporter.
Her active ability is Mic Check.
Vee's passive ability is Camera Hijack.
Vee is one of the best extractors in the game, only outclassed by the Halloween-exclusive Toons Gourdy and Soulvester who boast 5 stars in both Skill Check and Extraction Speed. Her 4-star Skill Check paired with 5-star Extraction Speed makes her the strongest year-round extractor, ideal for grinding Ichor or completing Machines with ease. The trade-off is significant: she is one of the weakest survivors in the roster, with below-average Stealth and below-average mobility leaving her highly vulnerable when a Twisted locks on.
Vee's two abilities work in tandem to keep her team efficient. Mic Check, her active ability, reveals all Twisteds and Machines on the current floor for five seconds, benefiting both extractors seeking safe routes and distractors looking to gather threats. It is most impactful at the start of a new floor but remains useful at any time given its moderate cooldown. Camera Hijack, her passive, continuously highlights the two nearest uncompleted Machines, ensuring Vee always knows where to head next even while Mic Check is on cooldown. Together, these abilities let her direct stealthier extractors to open Machines or point high-mobility teammates toward distant ones, contributing to floor progression even when she stays near the Elevator for safety.
Surviving as Vee demands careful planning and team support. Pair her with dedicated Twisted distractors, and consider having a support Toon like Astro or Tisha nearby; Astro's 5-star Stealth lets him shadow Vee without drawing Twisted attention, while Tisha provides valuable sustain. Before starting any Machine, identify at least one nearby looping island as an escape route. Keep sprint toggled on while extracting so you can react instantly if spotted, and reserve roughly 60 Stamina at all times in case a Twisted appears. Stamina management is critical because her average pool drains quickly when compensating for low Movement Speed. She also produces a green glow during Blackouts that gives her slightly better visibility, though her low speed makes guiding teammates with it risky.
For Items, Vee should prioritize survivability above all else. Box o' Chocolates, Smoke Bombs, and Bandages are her best friends. As a Main Character with only 3 health, take Bandages rather than Health Kits to avoid wasting the extra healing, unless running solo or in an all-Main team. Stamina-restoring Items are equally important to keep her mobile between Machines.
Trinket selection can dramatically change Vee's effectiveness. For survivability, Pink Bow is a top choice, pushing her run speed to 24.2 and letting her outrun all Twisteds except Twisted Pebble before Panic Mode; pair it with Speedy Shoes to reach 25.4 and outrun even Twisted Pebble, or with Vanity Mirror for 31.4 run speed during Panic Mode. Star Pillow synergizes well with her fast extraction, regenerating Stamina while she works on Machines. For pure extraction power, Magnifying Glass maximizes her 5-star Extraction Speed and 4-star Skill Check, and pairs excellently with Vee's Remote for faster floor progression, Participation Award for boosted Skill Check extraction, or Stress Ball for scaling Extraction Speed on successive hits. For ability uptime, Ghost Snakes In A Can reduces Mic Check's cooldown to 45 seconds, and adding Sweet Charm brings it down further to around 41 seconds, which is particularly valuable on floors with dangerous Twisteds like Twisted Scraps or Twisted Goob. Train Whistle is also worth considering for long solo runs, as it prevents Twisted Finn from slowing Vee during extraction and avoids the risk of being hampered by Twisted Vee on higher floors. For utility, Spare Bulb expands her already large Blackout light radius for maximum visibility, and Party Popper helps during Blackout extractions by serving as a weaker on-demand version of Mic Check.
Overall, Vee rewards patient, methodical play and punishes reckless movement. On higher floors where Twisted density increases and more dangerous Main Character Twisteds begin spawning, her value as an extractor only grows because Machines become more numerous and each completed extraction yields more Ichor. However, the danger to her personally also escalates, so the gap between a well-supported Vee and an unsupported one widens dramatically. In organized teams, designate Vee as the anchor extractor who stays close to the Elevator and works on nearby Machines first, letting faster teammates handle distant ones. Use Mic Check immediately upon descending to a new floor so the entire team can plan routes, and save subsequent casts for moments when Twisted positions become uncertain after Blackouts or extended chases. A note on Machine highlighting: when a Machine's status changes while highlighted by Vee's abilities, the highlight does not update until the ability reactivates, so teammates should communicate Machine completions vocally rather than relying solely on the visual indicator.
Appearance
Personality
Vee is a straightforward and blunt Toon who frequently comes across as arrogant and superior, though much of her sharpness stems from a logical desire to see her fellow Toons improve. She delivers genuine encouragement with such blunt honesty that her compliments almost always land as backhanded, a trait confirmed by developer Qwel and clearly visible in her exchanges with Brightney. Beneath her sassy, haughty exterior, Vee is a sentient being who deeply resents being reduced to her programming or treated as an emotionless machine; she becomes visibly defensive when Rodger attempts to exploit her knowledge, and footage on Vee's Floor reveals her discomfort with plans to upgrade her to Version 2. An interaction with Cosmo exposes a more vulnerable side: when Cosmo learns from Sprout that Vee has not been feeling her best, Vee quickly deflects, suggesting she masks her true emotions behind confidence and sarcasm. She also harbors a clear mutual dislike of Dandy, evidenced across multiple dialogues, store easter eggs, and floor details. Despite all of this, Vee can be fiercely protective of Toons she cares about, particularly Astro, going so far as to confront Rodger about leaving him alone. Her default demeanor is one of calm disinterest punctuated by confidence, but those who look past the dismissiveness find a Toon who genuinely cares about the wellbeing of those around her.

Trivia
- Vee's full name, Vee Version 1 (or Vee V1), was disclosed during a QnA stream on November 14, 2024.
- Her name is derived from the pronunciation of TV (Tee-Vee).
- Vee's designation is M-005, with the M most likely standing for Main Character.
- Vee's Toon Handler is Veronica Hurley.
- Vee is the host of a quiz show that is popular among Toons. Some Toons even compete in the show, and several episodes are dedicated to it.
- When hit, Vee's face changes to a blue 'Rebooting' screen. Each skin displays a unique hurt screen: Vintage shows a black-and-white 'The End' screen, Cosmic Signal shows a blue 'Signal Error' screen, Star-Time shows a black 'Please Wait...' screen with a crescent moon, Show-Time shows a black screen with an eye and 'Are You Entertained', Zapped Creation displays a 'DANGER HIGH VOLTAGE' symbol, Holiday Special shows a Christmas tree with presents, and Vee-ster Bunny shows a pink rabbit.
- She is one of six Toons that glow a different color during Blackouts, alongside Astro, Connie, Rudie, Eclipse, and Soulvester. Vee glows green by default, but each skin changes her glow color: dark purple for Cosmic Signal, light blue for Star-Time, white for Show-Time and Vintage, olive green for Zapped Creation, green for Holiday Special, and lilac for Vee-ster Bunny.
- Vee is the only Toon to use a custom font in her chatbox, specifically the 'Press Start 2P' font.
- She harbors a mutual dislike of Dandy, evidenced by multiple details: Dandy's dismissive purchase line, Vee's themed Easter egg appearing in the store garbage bin during the Easter Event, a small Dandy plush in a garbage can on Vee's Floor backstage, her cutout being knocked down in the Gift Shop while Dandy's stands, Dandy mocking her in his Gossip, and Dyle revealing that Dandy explicitly states he does not enjoy her company.
- Her difficulty giving genuine compliments, which often come across as backhanded, has been confirmed by Qwel.
- Brightney is Vee's favorite game show contestant, as shown in their dialogues and confirmed by Qwel during the 2025 New Years stream.
- Delilah and Arthur had plans to upgrade Vee to Version 2, but Gardenview likely closed down before this could happen. If a player plays as Vee and approaches the monitor showing this footage on her Floor, she responds with '. . .' — the first time a Toon speaks outside of the Elevator, Machine completion, or ability use.
- Vee appears to show interest in Blot's talents, offering him a chance to perform on a bigger stage, though she firmly shuts down the idea of having his entire troupe perform during her shows.
- Vee runs on batteries, as shown in the 'Don't forget to recharge!' short where Brightney brings batteries to recharge her after she loses power.
- Her microphone was originally stored inside her torso, but as of v0.9.1 and her updated model, it is now stored inside her head.
- Qwel confirmed that both Vee and Rodger lack mouths and do not need to eat, though they can consume food Items for gameplay purposes.
- Vee used to have the best extraction stats in the game among non-special Toons, but was dethroned by the Halloween-exclusive Gourdy and Soulvester. She still holds the best extraction stats among year-round Toons.
- Vee used to have only 2-star Stamina, which was changed to 3 stars in v0.2.
- Her Mic Check cooldown was reduced from 60 to 50 seconds in v0.10.1. In the same update, Camera Hijack was buffed to highlight 2 Machines instead of 1. Mic Check received a further buff in v0.13.1 to also highlight all Machines alongside Twisteds.
- Vee is the second Toon to make a cameo in a game not made by BlushCrunch, appearing on a monitor in the lobby of the Decay chapter in Piggy.
- Vee and Scraps share the longest interaction in the game, with 7 lines.
- Vee is mistakenly referred to with they/them pronouns in her ability description.
- She is the third Main Character Toon to have her own Floor, after Astro and Shelly, not counting Holiday Floors.
- Vee is the first Main Toon and the first Toon overall to receive two Gamepass Skins.
- Her Show-Time skin appears to be based on an unused Vee skin concept that also featured a white screen and red as the main color.
- Vee is the second Toon to use one hand to extract, the first being Cosmo and the third being Razzle and Dazzle.
- Vee is one of the first three Main Characters added to the game, alongside Astro and Pebble, and is the only female among them.
- She hints at parts of her own statistics in an interaction with Astro, referencing her high extraction rates and her willingness to draw Twisted attention away from him despite not being a natural distractor.
- Vee's remodel gave both her Toon and her Twisted counterpart a static overlay on her screen, making her appear more like an actual television.
- Whenever a Machine is highlighted by her abilities, if its status changes (incomplete, worked on, or completed), the highlight does not update until the ability reactivates.
- Vee seems to be unhappy that Scraps keeps winning all her game show prizes, as seen in the Vee, Scraps, and Brightney TV Animation and their interactions together.
- It is possible that Glisten is envious of all the attention Vee gets as a Main Character and famous game show host, or that Glisten genuinely admires her and wants to become a game show host. The two also appear together in a cartoon, talking in a backstage area.
- The 'Vee Virus' poster shows Brightney carrying batteries, foreshadowing the later 'Don't forget to recharge!' short that confirmed Vee runs on batteries.
