Introduction

As a ghost, Connie enjoys floating around and having fun! Sometimes she may cause a bit of trouble for her own enjoyment yet at the end of the day, she'll be there for her friends.

Description

Connie the Ghost, also known as Connie, is one of the 27 playable Toons in Dandy's World. She was introduced on December 6th, 2024, alongside Looey. She is available to be bought in Dandy's Store.

Appearance

Connie is a light-blue ghost with a white visor, long dark hair, and a ghost tail. She has a ghostly appearance with a translucent body and is the first Toon to not have legs; instead, she has a ghost-like tail. During Blackouts, she gives off a blue glow. Connie doesn't walk when moving, similar to Flutter, and instead floats around.

Personality

Connie is charismatic and snarky, with a prankster-like nature. She enjoys causing a bit of trouble for her own enjoyment but ultimately cares for her friends. She can be defensive when teased, as shown in her interaction with Shrimpo where she gets angry at his attempt to bully her. Connie seems to have an awkward relationship with Brightney, as seen in their dialogues, but appears to be good friends with Gigi.

STRATEGIES

Connie is an excellent Toon for surviving and extracting machines, though she does have some weaknesses. Her lower Movement Speed can cause her to run out of Stamina quickly, especially when trying to reach machines faster or escaping from Twisteds. The slow Movement Speed reduces her ability to escape dangerous situations, making her vulnerable despite her high Stealth.

Her active ability, Haunting Escape, allows her to become invisible for 5 seconds, making her undetectable to most Twisteds (except Lethal Twisteds). This ability is crucial for escaping dangerous situations or avoiding detection when Twisteds are nearby. With a cooldown of 50 seconds, it should be used strategically rather than at the first sign of danger.

Connie's high Extraction Speed (4 stars) makes her excellent for completing machines quickly, though her lower Skill Check stat (2 stars) means players need to be careful when performing skill checks. Her exceptional Stealth (5 stars) makes her one of the stealthiest Toons in the game, alongside Astro, allowing her to remain undetected by Twisteds for longer periods.

For optimal play, focus on using Trinkets that boost her Movement Speed to compensate for her weakness, or enhance her already strong Extraction capabilities. Combinations like Clown Horn/Ribbon Spool or Pink Bow/Speedy Shoes can significantly improve her mobility, while Blue Bandana/Machine Manual can further boost her extraction efficiency.

Connie is the first Toon to publicly be known to have been delayed. The reasoning for this is the past co-owner of BlushCrunch Studio being fired, thus creating a large hole in the staff.
Connie is the first and so far only Toon to not have legs; instead of legs, she has a ghost-like tail.
Connie is the second Toon to not walk when moving, the first being Flutter.
Connie is the only Toon to have a publicly known scrapped render.
Similar to Glisten and Goob, she was originally a personal OC of Qwel's, being based off of Epic Mickey.
Connie was first seen back on January 30th, 2024, when she was still an Epic Mickey OC.
Connie's name is not alliterative and not a reference to the object she is inspired by, unlike most of the other Toons.
Connie's favorite color is blue, as stated in one of her interactions with Flutter.
Currently, Connie and Astro have the highest Stealth in the game.
