Dandy's World Movement Speed Guide
Movement Speed is an essential stat in Dandy's World that determines how fast Toons walk or run. Speed ratings range from 1 Star (10 Walk / 20 Run) to 5 Stars (20 Walk / 30 Run). Each Twisted has its own Walk and Run Speed, and being too slow to outrun a Twisted can end a run.

Movement Speed is rated from 1 to 5 Stars. The following Toons fall into each tier:
1 Star: Connie, Razzle & Dazzle (even-numbered Floors), Shrimpo, Soulvester. 2 Star: Ginger, Rodger, Scraps, Vee. 3 Star: Astro, Bobette, Boxten, Brightney, Brusha, Cosmo, Eggson, Finn, Gigi, Glisten, Looey, Poppy, Ribecca, Rudie, Shelly, Squirm, Teagan, Toodles. 4 Star: Blot, Coal, Cocoa, Eclipse, Flutter, Flyte, Goob, Gourdy, Sprout, Tisha, Yatta. 5 Star: Bassie, Dandy, Dyle, Pebble, and Razzle & Dazzle on odd-numbered Floors.

Twisteds are 20% faster during Panic Mode (15% with the Suppression Card). Ranked by Run Speed from slowest to fastest:

Trinket Strategies
Dog Plush is best used on Toons with 4 Star or higher Movement Speed, as the extra Walk Speed lets them out-walk almost all Twisteds. On 3 Star Toons it grants more walking versatility, but it is not worth equipping on Toons below 3 Stars.
Pink Bow can be used by almost any Toon and is especially valuable for Toons with less than 4 Star Movement Speed and high Stamina, such as Brightney, Bobette, and Scraps. It makes outrunning most Twisteds straightforward, though Stamina management remains important.
Speedy Shoes alone is not highly effective, but pairing it with Dog Plush (for walking) or Pink Bow (for running) gives a 15.5% Walk Speed or 12.9% Run Speed boost.
Clown Horn and Ribbon Spool are commonly paired together so the 10% boost applies on every Floor rather than only half. Vanity Mirror is best on Toons with 2 Star Movement Speed or lower to ensure they can reach the Elevator during Panic Mode.
Ability-Based Speed Interactions
Multiple Toons interact with Movement Speed through their Abilities. Bobette gives a 25% speed boost to players in her Festive Aura. Brusha becomes 25% slower while her Artistic Inspiration toggle is active. Eclipse gains a 20% speed boost during Blackouts via Total Eclipse. Finn and Shelly gain 33.3% and 25% speed boosts respectively when a Machine is completed. Flutter and Rudie dash forward for a large but brief speed surge. Flyte's Gust Ability creates a wind that grants a 15% speed boost for 5 seconds to Toons who walk through it. Gourdy has a 1/4 chance to give a 20% speed boost with Trick or Treat, and his Passive Sugar Rush gives all Toons a 20% boost for 5 seconds at the start of a Floor or when Panic Mode activates. Looey gains 20% speed per missing Heart. Poppy gains a 50% speed boost for 3 seconds after being hit. Tisha gives nearby teammates a 25% speed boost with Tidy Up.

- Pebble, Bassie, and Razzle & Dazzle (on odd-numbered Floors) have the highest Movement Speed at 5 Stars. Connie, Razzle & Dazzle (on even-numbered Floors), Shrimpo, and Soulvester have the lowest at 1 Star.
- Using Clown Horn and Pink Bow on Looey with 1 Heart gives approximately 41.4 Movement Speed, enough to outrun Twisted Dyle at his fastest (40 speed).
- Twisted Pebble was originally the second fastest base game Twisted at 25 speed. In v0.15.19, his speed was lowered by 1, making him tie with Twisted Glisten at 24.
