Speedy Shoes is a Store Trinket in Dandy's World that increases both Walk and Run Speed by 5%. It can be bought from Dandy's Store in the Lobby for 400 Ichor. Its percentage-based boost means faster Toons benefit more, and it pairs well with Dog Plush for distractors.

Description
Despite its name, Speedy Shoes appears as a singular white shoe with black shoelaces (tucked into the holes), a light gray sole, and peachy sides decorated with a cool, blue lightning bolt symbol with white highlights on each, along with a white circle. The shoe has a blue sock in the same shade as the main color of the bolt and is slightly creased. Alongside Friendship Bracelet, Speedy Shoes was one of the few Trinkets to have a placeholder icon before the game's release.
Strategies
Speedy Shoes is vastly helpful when distracting Twisteds due to its general Movement Speed buff. It is highly recommended to pair this with Dog Plush when using a Toon with 4 Star Movement Speed like Goob and Flutter, as it allows you to outwalk most Twisteds (20.2 Walk Speed). Toons with 5 Star Movement Speed such as Pebble, Razzle, and 1 Heart Looey do not need this Trinket to do this, but the extra speed boost is still useful.
With the Dog Plush and Speedy Shoes pair used on 3 Star Movement Speed Toons, they will get 17.3 Walk Speed, nearly the same as 4 Star Movement Speed, unlocking the ability to more easily conserve Stamina, or even the potential to distract with high enough skill. Even if you are not distracting, this Trinket can still be used on Toons with low Movement Speed. Pairing it with Pink Bow can maximize run speed and make high-stamina low-speed Toons like Scraps better equipped for a chase. Because Speedy Shoes is percentage based, you get more value out of it the more Movement Speed your Toon has.
