Ginger is best understood as a survivalist healer.
Her active ability is Baked with Care!.
On paper, Ginger's slower Movement Speed, overall average stat spread, and an ability resembling Cosmo's but with a longer cooldown might seem underwhelming. Where she truly excels, however, is in the exceptional range of her active ability.
This extended range allows Ginger to heal distractors from a much safer distance than other support Toons like Sprout and Cosmo. Rather than risking Twisted aggro by running up to distractors who are kiting enemies like Coal, Flutter, Goob, Looey, Pebble, Sprout, or Tisha, Ginger can deliver heals from nearly across the entire map.
Her playstyle shares many strategic elements with Cosmo given their similar Stealth values and active abilities. Bandages and Health Kits should be saved for Ginger so that healing resources stay well-distributed across the team. Additionally, her 3-star Skill Check makes her a solid contributor for machine repairs.

True to her introduction card, Ginger is a timid Toon. She carries a degree of insecurity (hinted at in her conversations with Bobette) and tends toward social awkwardness. Nevertheless, she shares the same passion for baking as Sprout and Cosmo, and she cares deeply for her cousin Cosmo — even though her status as a Holiday Toon limits how often she can be there for him and the others. During the off-season, she seeks out entertainment to stay occupied, as revealed in her interaction with Vee. Notably, while her baking results are reportedly quite poor, her decorating abilities are widely admired.
