Introduction

Astro is a quiet moon who helps others rest well with his soothing presence. He teaches children the importance of a good night's sleep and sweet dreams!

Description

Astro the Moon, full name Astro Novalite, is one of the 27 playable Toons in Dandy's World, added on June 14th, 2024. He is one of the Main Characters and is available to be bought in Dandy's Store.

Appearance

Astro is a light blue crescent moon with a black face. He has one normal eye and one star-shaped eye. He wears a blue sleeping cap with a white pom-pom on top and is wrapped in a blue blanket. During Blackouts, he gives off a soft blue glow.

Personality

Astro is a shy and quiet Toon who prefers to stay in the background. He's very supportive of his fellow Toons, always ready to help them when they're tired. He has a close connection to dreams and sleep, as shown by his abilities and interactions. Despite his reserved nature, he seems to have a special friendship with Dandy, though this relationship appears to make some other Toons uncomfortable. Astro enjoys simple pleasures like hot chocolate and is part of Brightney's book club along with Dazzle.

STRATEGIES

Astro excels at Stealth and Support, so it's important to capitalize on that, considering a below-average Health stat. Due to having the most Stealth in game, Astro can easily Support Toons being chased by using Nap time, and make a quick getaway without risking damage due to high Stealth.

After escaping a Twisted, Astro can regain lost Stamina quickly with Well Rested, or be a little devilish and use his stealth to make other Toons act as Distractions.

Astro's main weaknesses are his low Health and average stat spread. Unlike other Main Character Toons, his stats are much more well-rounded (Stealth aside). This means he neither excels at Extraction nor Distraction, but can still do a decent job at either.

Due to this, it could be wise to take full advantage of Astro's high Stealth to avoid being chased in the first place, trying not to take any damage, and completing unsafe Machines right underneath their noses.

As long as a Twisted has its eyes set on someone else, (Besides Connie, who may be a problem) it will effectively never re-target onto Astro unless he is the only viable target left. Also, his lower Skill Check stat will make Extracting slightly slower.

Astro's full name is Astro Novalite, confirmed by Qwelver in a 10/17/2024 stream.
Astro is designation M-002, with the M likely standing for Main Character.
Astro has two UGC items, being Astro's Cap and Astro's Head.
Astro and Razzle & Dazzle are friends, specifically Dazzle.
Astro is apart of Brightney's Book Club, along with Dazzle.
Based on a 1988 photo found in the Greenhouse floor, Astro and Dandy might have been childhood friends.
It is implied that Astro knows about Dandy's Twisted form, due to Astro's obtainment requirements.
Astro seems to have some sort of control over dreams, as implied by his dialogues with several Toons.
