Description

Rudie the Reindeer, also known as Rudie, is one of the 4 playable Holiday Toons in Dandy's World, added on January 10th, 2025, alongside Bobette, Coal, and Ginger. He is only available during the Christmas Event in Bobette's Store.

Appearance

Rudie is a brown reindeer with digitigrade legs and a big red nose. He has lighter patches of brown on his face, insides of his ears and his torso. His hooves and neck fur is dark brown and he has red and white candy cane-like antlers on the top of his head. During Blackouts, his nose glows red, making him one of the few Toons that glow a different color.

Personality

As shown in his dialogue and introduction poster, Rudie is an extremely cheerful and festive Toon who believes that every day is Christmas. This might be due to how Event Toons naturally isolate themselves when it's not winter, leading him to be constantly excited or yearning for the holiday season. He's always in a jolly mood and loves to spread holiday cheer to everyone around him.

STRATEGIES

Rudie is a well-balanced Survivalist with average stats across the board, making him a good choice for players who prefer a jack-of-all-trades approach. His active ability, Antler Charge, provides a quick burst of speed that can be used to escape dangerous situations or to quickly traverse the map.

The short cooldown of Antler Charge (23 seconds) means it can be used frequently throughout a round. This makes Rudie particularly effective at kiting Twisteds, as he can create distance between himself and pursuers with regular speed boosts. When used strategically, this ability can help Rudie reach machines, items, or extraction points more quickly than other Toons.

Rudie works well with Trinkets that enhance his movement speed or stamina, further improving his mobility and survivability. His balanced stats also make him a good choice for solo play, as he doesn't have any significant weaknesses that could be exploited by Twisteds.

Rudie is the first Toon to have unguligrade legs.
