Appearance
Dog Plush appears as a dark gray dog plush with two white spots on its ears, one big and one small, and spots on its right arm, and one small plus one big spot on its left leg. Its nose is a darker shade of gray or black than its body, and has a large white spot in the middle of its forehead, slightly resembling Toodles' own head spot. Its two black eyes have the edges of two more spots peeking out from under them. It has gray stitching over its ear, across its side, and vertically bisecting its face.
Strategies
Dog Plush is a great Trinket for distractors with 4-Star or more Movement Speed, such as Pebble or Looey, as it allows them to much more easily out-walk Twisteds outside of Panic Mode. Do note, however, that Dog Plush alone doesn't provide enough Walk Speed to consistently outpace most Twisteds for Toons with 3-Star Movement Speed, meaning you will have to Sprint Tap — a strategy where you press the sprint button and stop quickly after, trying to either walk in straight lines or cling to an island. This should give you the ability to regenerate Stamina consistently. Pairing this with Speedy Shoes will give another 5% buff to Walk Speed, giving 15.5% Walk Speed total.
Using this Trinket with a Toon like Blot, Sprout, Teagan, or Ginger can help with scavenging for Tape, as it allows you to go faster. Dog Plush also helps improve the survivability of Toons with low Stamina and high Movement Speed such as Yatta, Tisha, or Gourdy, due to the ability to out-walk the majority of Twisteds outside of Panic Mode, reducing the need to use their limited Stamina.
Dog Plush is not recommended for Toons with under 3-Star Movement Speed such as Razzle & Dazzle (on even Floors), Connie, Soulvester, and Shrimpo. The Walk Speed boost will be useless as only 1 unit will be added. The Pink Bow and Speedy Shoes combo is better for slower Toons, as the Run Speed will help them escape chases.
Best Users and Practical Value
Dog Plush is strongest on Toons that already have enough base Movement Speed to turn a percentage boost into real pathing control. Pebble, Looey, Tisha, Yatta, Gourdy, and other fast movers get the most from it because the extra Walk Speed changes how often they need to sprint. That matters more than the raw number on paper. The real gain is that you preserve Stamina while still maintaining distance.
This also makes Dog Plush a strong second-slot comfort pick for players who already know route shapes and island loops. If your biggest problem is running out of Stamina during long chases, Dog Plush often performs better than another small extraction increase because it keeps you alive long enough to finish more total Machines.
Best Pairings and When to Skip It
Dog Plush pairs well with Speedy Shoes when you want a simple all-floor movement setup, and it can also sit next to stamina tools when your build is focused on survival through long floors. If you are using a fast distractor, Dog Plush is often the cleanest low-maintenance slot because it gives value the entire run rather than only during specific triggers.
Skip Dog Plush on slower Toons that cannot convert the Walk Speed into meaningful spacing. Pink Bow is usually better for 2-Star and many 3-Star Movement Speed Toons because the extra Run Speed helps them survive actual chase breaks. If a lobby is failing Machines more than it is failing chases, extraction or Skill Check trinkets will usually return more total value than Dog Plush.
