Sprout is a caring strawberry who's always looking out for his friends! He teaches children the importance of caring for others and being a good friend!

Description

Sprout the Strawberry, full name Sprout Seedly, is one of the 27 playable Toons in Dandy's World, added on August 14th, 2024. He is one of the 6 playable Main Characters and can be purchased in Dandy's Store.

Appearance

Sprout is a strawberry-headed Toon, known for wearing a unique white scarf with thin pink stripes wrapped around his neck and draping elegantly over his back. His distinctive look features five mint green leaves, with three resting atop his head and the other two covering his forehead like bangs. In Sprout's 3D model, additional leaves are added to his bangs. His face is marked with dark red blush and three black freckles on each cheek. His limbs are a lighter shade of red compared to his head and torso, creating a striking contrast.

Personality

Sprout is a direct and overprotective Toon, often mentioning Cosmo in many of his interactions. While he means well, he can come across as pushy, especially when he's looking out for other Toons, as seen in Dandy's comments when you buy him, and in his interactions with both Astro and Pebble. Sprout is also shown to be quite stubborn, as seen in his interactions with Dandy, where he continues to argue with him despite Dandy's attempts to avoid him. At his core, Sprout genuinely cares about the well-being and safety of his fellow Toons, though his caring nature can sometimes make him seem a bit too straightforward or assertive.

STRATEGIES

Sprout is a versatile Toon who excels in both distracting Twisteds and supporting teammates with healing. His exceptional movement speed and stamina make him an excellent distractor, while his active ability allows him to heal teammates in critical situations.

For distracting, utilize Sprout's high movement speed and stamina to lead Twisteds away from teammates working on machines. The Dog Plush/Speedy Shoes trinket combination enhances his movement capabilities, allowing him to outrun most Common/Uncommon Twisteds effectively.

As a healer, Sprout's Baked Sweets ability can be a game-changer, especially in later floors. Prioritize healing distractors until Floor 5, and save emergency heals (for Toons at 1 HP) for floors above 8. It's advisable to maintain at least 150 Tapes before using your healing ability unless absolutely necessary.

Sprout's passive ability, Overprotective, provides valuable information about teammates' locations and health status, allowing for better coordination and timely healing. This makes him particularly effective in team-based strategies where communication is key.
