Strategies
Vee's Remote is a near-direct upgrade of Wrench, completing the first Machine you extract instantly. It behaves similarly to the Valve Item, and its use greatly benefits Machine extraction. Vee's Remote is best used with a Toon with high Movement Speed, low Extraction Speed, high Stealth, or with no defined niche. Toons that are fast like Flutter or Goob can reach Machines quicker to actually use their remote. Toons with bad Extraction Speed or Skill Check like Cosmo or Toodles can use it to greatly reduce their time spent on Machines in large groups.
Vee's Remote can also be used strategically depending on your Floor's layout to take out risky Machines in a snap. Its value is increased beyond pure extraction if you use it on Machines in heavily exposed areas, at broken Elevator spots, in dead ends, in low visibility spots during Blackouts, inside Twisted Razzle & Dazzle's circle, or far away from the Elevator.
Using Vee's Remote along with Magnifying Glass is the best way to maximize most Toons' extraction potential. Vee's Remote is more effective if used by multiple people, allowing you to complete half of a Floor instantly — great during Events to reach Floor 20 faster. Vee's Remote heavily supports Sprout's low extraction stats and instantly produces 10 Tapes. This also applies to Teagan and Ginger. Note that just like the Valve item, this Trinket only adds 99% of completion instead of instantly finishing a Machine, meaning if a Twisted spots you right after activation, the Machine will not be completed.
Best Users and Why It Wins Floors
Vee's Remote is strongest on Toons that can reach awkward Machines quickly or that normally lose too much time on exposed objectives. Flutter, Goob, Cosmo, Toodles, Sprout, Ginger, and Teagan all get practical value from it for different reasons. Fast Toons can claim the right Machine first. Low-extraction Toons can erase their worst machine-time weakness. Support-oriented Toons can remove dangerous objectives without overcommitting.
The main reason Vee's Remote is so strong is tempo. Clearing the worst first Machine on a floor changes the whole room state: fewer risky rotations, less time spent under pressure, and fewer chances for a chase to start in the wrong place.
Pairings, Tradeoffs, and Better Use Cases
Vee's Remote pairs best with sustained extraction trinkets such as Magnifying Glass when you want one guaranteed machine swing plus strong value on every later Machine. It also pairs well with movement trinkets on slower users that need help reaching the right opening target.
Do not waste Vee's Remote on a safe first Machine just because it is nearby. Its value is highest when it removes a dead-end Machine, a blackout machine, a broken-elevator machine, or a room that would otherwise demand multiple risky entries. If your team already has enough first-machine tempo, Wrench may be good enough and costs less progression pressure.
Trivia
Vee's Remote has undergone a significant change since its original release.
- This Trinket used to instantly complete the first Machine you extracted on any Floor regardless of completion, but decreased Extraction Speed by 50%. This was changed in v0.2.1.
- Vee's Remote is nicknamed 'Veemote' by the community.
- Just like Valve, this Trinket only adds 99% of completion instead of instantly finishing a Machine, meaning if a Twisted spots you right after activation, the Machine will not be instantly completed.
- Vee's Remote is the third Trinket to get a plush version, with Memory Locket being the first and Star Pillow being the second.
FAQ
How do you get Vee's Remote in Dandy's World?
Vee's Remote is obtained by achieving 100% Research on Twisted Vee. It is a Twisted Trinket requiring repeated capsule research across multiple runs.
Is Vee's Remote good in Dandy's World?
Yes. Vee's Remote is considered a near-direct upgrade of Wrench, instantly completing the first Machine you extract from per Floor (when below 50% completion). It is particularly strong on fast Toons like Flutter or Goob, low-extraction Toons like Cosmo or Toodles, and when used by multiple players simultaneously.
Vee's Remote or Wrench is better?
Vee's Remote is better when you need the highest first-machine swing and can choose the right target. Wrench is cheaper and easier to use, but it does not create the same floor-opening tempo.
