Strategy
Teagan is best understood as a all-rounder survivalist.
Her active ability is Tea Time.
Teagan is a versatile All-Rounder who does not specialize in any single area, but offers solid survivability across all game modes. Her playstyle can be adapted based on your preferences and team needs. The only real drawback is her 2-star Stealth, which means Twisteds will notice her easily. While this is a liability for stealthy extraction, it can be turned into a strength for distraction and protection roles.
Tea Time makes Teagan a great pick for inexperienced players or anyone prone to taking hits during runs. Because healing Items like Health Kits and Bandages are naturally scarce, converting Tapes into health is a significant advantage. By around Floor 12 and beyond, unspent Tapes tend to pile up, so ask teammates to leave extra Tapes for you. Activities that generate Tapes include picking up Items, encountering each Twisted for the first time on a floor, completing Machines, surviving the floor, and using Items. Grab low-value pickups your teammates do not need, such as Gumballs, Skill Check Candies, and Stealth Candies, for small Tape gains. Jumper Cables are also excellent pickups, and buying a Valve from the pre-game shop pairs well with Vee's Remote or Wrench Trinkets. Do not deliberately seek out Twisteds, but briefly stepping out from the elevator during Panic Mode after your teammates are safe can earn you extra Tapes before retreating.
Teagan functions well as a protector: her stats and self-healing let her guard teammates who are extracting and have equal or higher Stealth. She can hover near teammates on 1 Heart, bait ranged Twisted attacks to give distractors a head start, and escort slower teammates to the elevator during Panic Mode. Taking a hit for others is less costly when you can heal it back with Tapes. If a Sprout or Ginger is also on the team, allow them priority on Tapes since they need to distribute heals to the whole group; you will still earn enough from completing tasks normally.
In solo runs, Teagan can claim all Tapes for herself and intentionally trigger Twisted encounters or burn through low-value Items for additional Tapes. The absence of teammates also means more healing Items for personal use. She is also strong in Dandy Runs, where Health Kits and Bandages are naturally rare. Ask your team to leave all Tapes for Teagan unless Sprout or Ginger are present. For Dyle's Floor, her above-average Stamina makes her efficient on Treadmill Machines, and the abundant Machines on that floor provide high Tape income. Note that Tea Time is ineffective against Twisted Dyle's instant kill, so caution is still necessary.
Optimal Trinket choices depend on your intended role. For survivability, Pink Bow lets Teagan outrun all Twisteds except Twisted Dyle at max speed before Panic Mode; pair it with Speedy Shoes for further speed, Vanity Mirror to outrun every Twisted during Panic Mode, or Diary to avoid disrupting 2-star Stealth distractors. For extraction, Magnifying Glass takes full advantage of her 3-star Extraction Speed and Skill Check, and pairs well with Vee's Remote for quicker floor progression or Participation Award for maximizing Skill Check extraction; Train Whistle is useful in long solo runs to avoid being slowed by Twisted Finn. For a support build, Soul Sword or Blushy Bat (but not both together) let Teagan slow a Twisted by taking a hit and then healing it back, functioning like a sentinel. Sweet Charm reduces Tea Time's cooldown, and can be combined with Ghost Snakes In A Can for a further small reduction. Dandy Plush is broadly useful since it discounts Dandy's Shop prices, saving Tapes for healing. Avoid Tape-providing Trinkets like Fancy Purse, as they only supply enough for one heal and become useless later in the run. Unless you are in a solo run, leave Health Kits and Bandages for teammates since Teagan can heal herself.
Appearance
Personality
Teagan is a gracious and warm Toon who delights in inviting others to her tea gatherings. She has memorized the preferred tea of every Toon and knows how to prepare each one perfectly, a fact established on her introduction card and demonstrated through her interactions. She carries herself with calm composure and places high value on proper etiquette, as shown in her exchanges with Pebble and Rodger, where she mentions taking care not to get Ichor on her boa. She is also deeply accommodating of others' needs: she offers Goob straws because his wobbly arms cause him to drop cups, suggests a different style of party to suit Yatta's hyperactivity, and offers Finn water instead of tea since it is the only drink he consumes. Teagan schedules one-on-one tea party sessions with individual Toons like Brusha to discuss problems, help them relax, or guide them toward solutions, revealing a caring, almost parental side beneath her polished exterior.

Trivia
- Her name, Teagan, is most likely a play on her identity as a teacup and her love of hosting tea parties. The name is also gender-neutral, which aligns with their She/They pronouns.
- Teagan is the second Toon to have more than one set of pronouns, with the first being Dandy and the third being Looey. She is the only female Toon with multiple pronoun sets.
- Her conversation with Finn confirms that the liquid inside Teagan's head is sweet tea. Since Finn only drinks water (the liquid in his own head), it is likely that Teagan's favorite drink is sweet tea, though her preference may not be exclusive.
- Because she spills some tea during her healing animation, it can be inferred that her cup's contents are not essential to her survival.
- Teagan is the first Toon to use Tapes for her active ability, followed by Sprout as the second, Blot as the third, and Ginger as the fourth (since the 2025 Christmas Event).
- Before v0.10.1, Tea Time cost 100 Tapes, the same as Sprout and Ginger's abilities, until it was reduced to 75.
- Teagan is currently the only Toon who has the ability to directly heal herself. Gigi's Surprise ability can potentially yield a Bandage or Health Kit, but the healing comes from the items rather than the ability itself.
- Teagan and Finn share several similarities: both debuted as unannounced 'surprise Toons' without prior promotion, both are the only Toons with liquid inside their heads, both use a large cork when sleeping, and both of their Twisted counterparts are Uncommon type.
- She is the only Toon (and character overall) who wears lipstick in her default model.
- Teagan is the second Toon to feature eyeshadow, following Flutter, with Gigi third, Ginger fourth, Dyle fifth, and Ribecca sixth.
- Both Rodger and Teagan say 'Simply marvelous' upon completing a Machine.
- In her 3D model, Teagan's neck is light yellow, differing from the white shown on her introduction card and voting icon.
- As her introduction card shows, Teagan knows all the Toons' favorite teas. Boxten seems to prefer herbal tea (which helps him calm down), Poppy's favorite is bubble tea (reflecting that she is a bubble), and Astro likes iced tea.
- Teagan, Coal, and Rodger have one of the shortest interactions in the game, with only three lines of dialogue each.
- In an interaction with Rodger, Teagan is said to be good at dodging, which may explain her higher Stamina. Her lower Stealth may also be referenced by the fact that teacup designs tend to be eye-catching and decorative.
- According to Dandy's Gossip, Teagan maintains a blacklist of Toons banned from her tea parties. Known members include Connie (for possessing a teapot and getting hot tea on Dazzle) and Dandy himself (for an unknown reason).
- Teagan was one of three unoptimized Toons before v0.13.14 that did not appear in any posters, alongside Finn and Gigi.
- In Teagan's interaction with Tisha, when she asks about tea party sessions with 'her,' the 'her' most likely refers to Brusha, since Brusha has personal issues and Tisha, despite their rivalries, still cares for her.
