Dandy's World Ichor Leaks Guide
Ichor Leaks is a Floor Event in Dandy's World added in v0.11.1. When active, multiple Ichor Puddles spawn around the map via leaks from the roof. Toons who walk through puddles receive the Illness III Debuff (-50% Skill Check size for 20 seconds) and the Slow I Debuff (-15% Movement Speed for 5 seconds).

Description
When an Ichor Leak is active, 14 Ichor Puddles spawn around the map via leaks from the roof. While Toons traverse through a puddle, they are afflicted with Illness III for 20 seconds, which reduces Skill Check size by 50%, and Slow I for 5 seconds, which reduces Movement Speed by 15%. While afflicted with Illness, Ichor Stains appear on screen, covering parts of the UI and the screen border for as long as the Illness Debuff is active.
Ichor Leaks cannot occur before Floor 3. Upon passing Floor 3, the chance starts at 5% and increases by 2% after every completed Floor, capping at 30%. The Piping Tape Card lowers the chance increase per floor to 1.5% and decreases the max chance from 30% to 25%.
There are three different shapes an Ichor Puddle can take, though all three are not guaranteed to appear in the same Ichor Leak.
Immune Toons
Toons with a pipe icon next to their abilities in the selection screen are immune to both the Illness III and Slow I Debuffs from Ichor Puddles, and will not have their screen covered by Ichor Stains. The five immune Toons are:
Blot, Connie, Flutter, Ribecca (due to her Passive Ability making her immune to all Debuffs), and Soulvester. Ribecca does not have the pipe icon because her immunity comes from her Passive Ability rather than a built-in flag.
Strategies
Playing as an immune Toon removes both Debuffs entirely, making traversal and extraction more comfortable. Blot and Flutter have limited extractability but high mobility, making Treadmill Machines advisable. Ribecca has average extraction speed. Connie has above-average extractability but minimal Movement Speed. Soulvester has the best extractability of the immune Toons but also has the lowest Movement Speed alongside Connie.
Toons with Movement Speed boosts can counteract the Slow I Debuff. Bobette, Flyte, Gourdy, and Tisha can all provide speed boosts via their Abilities, though Flyte's boost only partially counteracts the Debuff at -2.2 decrease.
Equipping the Train Whistle Trinket completely nullifies the Slow I Debuff. Brusha's Artistic Inspiration Ability gives a +50% boost to Skill Check Size, directly countering the Illness III reduction, though Brusha herself is still slowed.
Avoiding faster Twisteds such as Twisted Pebble, Twisted Shelly, or Twisted Toodles is critical when slowed. Twisted Gigi and Twisted Vee also become more dangerous, as Twisted Vee's Slow II Debuff can stack with the puddle's Slow I.
If affected by Illness, prioritize Treadmill Machines as their Skill Checks are the easiest to hit. Circle Machine Skill Checks become very difficult due to the decreased window size speeding up the shrinking red ring.
Trivia
- Ichor Leaks are the second Floor Event in Dandy's World, with the first being Blackouts. They are the first Floor Event not present on Alpha release.
- Originally only 6 Puddles spawned per event. This was increased to 14 as part of the Ichor Leak buff in v0.15.1.
- Originally, Ichor Stains lasted only 5 seconds (matching the Slow I duration). In v0.15.16, they were changed to last for the full 20-second Illness III duration.
- Ribecca was the first and originally only Toon totally immune to both Debuffs, due to her Passive Ability making her immune to every Debuff.
- There is a bug where Scraps is unable to use her Ability if there is an Ichor Puddle between her and a Toon or Machine, as the puddle appears to block line of sight.
- It is possible to have both a Blackout and an Ichor Leak on the same Floor, with a 9% chance at best and 15.3% if Twisted Brightney's ability successfully activates.
- One of Ribecca's Mastery quests refers to Ichor Leaks as 'Ichor Spills'.
