Dandy's World Elevator Guide
The Elevator is the area in the Lobby used to start a run, alone or with up to seven other players. Players have 15 seconds for others to join, then 40 seconds to change Toons and Trinkets. Within runs the Elevator is the transition point between floors, and missing it during Panic Mode kills the player instantly regardless of Hearts.

How the Elevator Works
Players enter an Elevator in the Lobby to start a run alone or with up to seven others. After entering, there is a 15-second window for other players to join or leave — unless the Elevator is completely full, in which case everyone is transported immediately. After teleporting, players have 40 seconds to change their Toons and Trinkets before gameplay starts. They can also buy a Health Kit, Bandage, and Valve for Ichor during this window.
Once the timer runs out or everyone clicks the Ready Up button, the run begins. Within runs, the Elevator is the area players exit at the start of each Floor and must return to at the end. If a player does not enter the Elevator during Panic Mode fast enough, they are instantly killed, regardless of how many Hearts they have remaining.
Dandy's Shop
Dandy's Shop Intermission Floors appear between every even-numbered Floor, giving players the chance to buy three random Items from Dandy for Tapes. Dandy sells every Item in the game, including three exclusive to him. The only Item he will not sell is a BonBon, which can only be obtained through Cocoa's Bonbon Ability or Item Cards.
If all players do not buy from Dandy's Shop three times straight — a total of six Floors — there is a chance for Twisted Dandy to appear on any subsequent Floor. The longer the team goes without buying from Dandy, the higher the chance he appears. This resets whenever anyone buys from his shop or after he spawns on a Floor.
Card Voting
Card Vote Intermission Floors appear between every odd-numbered Floor, with the exception of Floor 1. Players vote for one of three random Cards. Whichever Card has the most votes is selected and its effect is applied. If there is a tie, the tied Cards are chosen at random. If nobody votes on any Card, one of the three is randomly chosen.
Mastery TV
Added in v0.6.4, a TV in the corner of the Elevator shows Mastery progress for the player's current Toon and indicates if a x2 Currency event is active. The TV stands on a tall metal cart with a VHS player on the second shelf.
When Dandy reaches his third stage of being enraged, his face may momentarily flash on the monitor — a warning that Twisted Dandy can appear at any time. Developer Qwel has mentioned that v0.6.4 was a test run to see whether the TV system worked, with plans to do more with it in the future.
Loading Screen Blurbs
While players are being teleported to a run, one of 36 different Toon Tips blurbs is randomly displayed at the bottom of the screen. These tips cover game mechanics, Toon abilities, and general advice — for example noting that odd-numbered Floors have Card Votes while even-numbered Floors have Dandy's Shop, that Panic Mode activates when all Machines are completed, and that earning Ichor is based on how far players make it in a round.
Trivia
Before the first Christmas update, players would be teleported to the Elevator if they had entered and then exited it, but this behavior was eventually removed. If a player's internet connection is too slow or Roblox is having technical issues, a red message appears on screen reading: "Haven't arrived yet? TeleportService most likely failed or Roblox having technical issues. Please be patient!"
