Twisted Vee takes the form of a green television set with a dark screen. Her default expression conveys contempt, which shifts to visible irritation accompanied by crying red pixels when she detects a Toon. During her blink animation, her face is replaced by a cluster of warning signs surrounded by the text "LOOK AT ME!". Her facial features and bowtie have been saturated to a natural green tone, while her TV body, torso, and microphone have darkened to a deeper lime green. Her antennas retain their original shape but are dramatically enlarged and droop more heavily, with the curved one appearing possibly broken. The gray spheres on her antennas now vary slightly in size. Her torso appears split apart, held together only by Ichor-coated wires connecting the upper and lower halves. Her feet are covered in Ichor, and her limbs are gray with mechanical, robot-like dark gray indentations. She also has a tail tipped with a microphone that features a dark green handle and gray grill.
Twisted Vee is a large, roaming Twisted shaped like a TV screen that patrols the halls without a set path. True to her media personality origins, her signature ability lets her flood players' screens with pop-up advertisements. These ads must be dismissed by clicking the red "X" in the top-right corner of the pop-up, pressing "X" (or "B") on an Xbox controller, or "O" on a PlayStation controller. Unclosed ads obstruct the player's view. She sends a batch of three pop-ups to all players upon entering the Floor and every 45 seconds thereafter. On their own, these ads pose no direct danger and will auto-dismiss after 30 seconds, though they can obscure Skill Checks and general visibility. When she spots a Toon, she emits agitated electronic noises and sends an additional single pop-up. She then applies the Slow II Debuff to the chased player for approximately 5 seconds, reapplying it every 10 seconds if the pursuit continues. This slowdown effect makes her especially difficult to escape for low-Movement-Speed Toons like Shrimpo, Connie, Soulvester, and Razzle & Dazzle (on even-numbered Floors), and significantly hinders both escape and distraction efforts.
Beyond her pop-ups and slowdown ability, Twisted Vee can detect failed Skill Checks, Air Horns, and Pebble's Speak! Ability from anywhere on the Floor, immediately rushing toward the sound source.
Escaping Twisted Vee mid-chase is challenging, particularly with slower Toons like her own Toon counterpart or Rodger. Rather than circling boxes as you would against most Twisteds, try running through multiple rooms to build distance. Once you are several rooms away, it becomes safe to duck behind cover.
Twisted Vee is generally easy to detect before she spots you. Her bright, vibrant colors stand out against most Floor environments (unlike darker Twisteds such as Twisted Finn), her pop-up ads announce her presence, and her footsteps have a distinctive sound that is easily distinguished from other Main Twisteds. Staying stealthy should keep you out of her sights.
If you are assigned to distract Twisted Vee, having Astro or Tisha nearby helps if you are not using a Toon with 5 or higher Movement Speed (for example, Looey at 1 Heart). Her Slow II Debuff drains Stamina during distraction runs. Counter it by sprint-tapping to maintain enough distance so the slowdown does not let her close the gap before it wears off. With proper spacing, you can avoid needing to sprint during the debuff window, conserving valuable Stamina. Pebble, Looey (at 1 Heart), and Eclipse (during Blackouts), equipped with Dog Plush and Speedy Shoes, Clown Horn, or Ribbon Spool, can naturally out-walk Twisted Vee under the right conditions. Avoid distracting her in tight spaces or alongside other fast and dangerous Twisteds like Twisted Pebble, Twisted Shelly, Twisted Bobette, or Twisted Coal (during Blackouts). Consider asking a backup to handle the faster Twisteds if you are expected to manage them all. Items like Speed Candy (which fully cancels the slowdown) or Pop are helpful during distraction. An Eject Button is particularly effective, removing the Slow II Debuff and granting a speed boost for a clean getaway.
If you lack experience distracting Twisted Vee, let a more practiced teammate handle her while you manage the remaining Twisteds.
To manage her pop-ups effectively, close the side player menu since ads can spawn there and become difficult to dismiss. Exercise extra caution during Machine use and chases. Pop-ups during a Skill Check can cause failures, and since Twisted Vee hears failed checks from anywhere on the map, this can quickly become lethal if you are unprepared. Pop-ups during a chase can cause you to run into walls, letting Twisteds land hits. Stay ready to dismiss ads at all times. Use number keys instead of cursor clicks to activate Items so your cursor stays free for closing pop-ups. If you have a controller connected, rapidly pressing A (Xbox) or B (Pro Controller) dismisses pop-ups very quickly.
During Ichor Leaks, Twisted Vee's global sound detection synergizes dangerously with the Illness III Debuff from Ichor puddles, which increases Skill Check failure rates. The puddles also apply Slow I, which stacks with Twisted Vee's Slow II for a potentially lethal combined slowdown. The Skill Check issue is neutralized if she is currently being distracted or responding to another alert, but the stacking slowdown remains a serious threat for distractors unless they have Train Whistle equipped.
Train Whistle completely negates Twisted Vee's slowdown Debuff, allowing players to treat her like any standard Twisted. This makes distraction significantly easier, especially when dealing with dangerous pairings like Twisted Vee alongside Twisted Pebble. Her average chase speed becomes a non-factor, leaving only the pop-ups as a concern. However, this costs a Trinket slot, and her Main Character status makes her spawn relatively uncommon, so the slot investment carries some risk.
Ribecca's Passive Ability, The Undead, grants complete immunity to Twisted Vee's slowdown Debuff, reducing Twisted Vee to a near-negligible threat (though her extended attention span and pop-ups still require attention). This allows Ribecca to serve as an effective rescuer for teammates being chased by Twisted Vee, especially those who are slow, low on Stamina, or at one Heart. Use caution if more dangerous Twisteds are also pursuing teammates.

View all Trinkets →- Twisted Vee's detection sound effect originates from Undertale, specifically the buzzer that plays when answering Mettaton's quiz questions incorrectly or getting electrocuted in his tile puzzle. Both Vee and Mettaton share the role of electronic or robot-like game show hosts, making this a fitting reference.
- The sound that plays when Twisted Vee detects a failed Skill Check is also from Undertale, taken from the Yellow SOUL's shots hitting Mettaton EX's heart during that boss fight.
- Early concept art suggests Twisted Vee's original mechanic may have involved the vent system, possibly moving through vents or pulling players inside.
- She is the only Main Twisted that produces no ambient sounds beyond footsteps while patrolling a Floor.
- On consoles (PlayStation 4/5, Xbox), her pop-ups can be rapidly dismissed by spamming the Circle or B button.
- Twisted Vee, alongside Twisted Astro and Twisted Dandy, was among the first Twisteds capable of hearing failed Skill Checks from anywhere on the Floor. Twisted Dyle was added second, and Twisted Gourdy third.
- She is the only Twisted that lacks red eyes entirely, instead displaying a small red line across her eyes. In her attack face, she appears to cry red pixels matching the color of these lines.
- She is among the Main Character Twisteds with a distinct attack face, and is the first base-game Main Character Twisted to have one. She is also the only Main Character Twisted whose attack expression conveys anger.
- Originally, her pop-up windows could stack infinitely. This was later changed so they auto-dismiss after 30 seconds on screen.
- Twisted Vee and Twisted Astro are the only Main Character Twisteds that apply Debuffs to Toons during a chase. Twisted Astro inflicts Tired III while Twisted Vee applies Slow II. Twisted Shelly is excluded since her Confused I Debuff affects the entire Floor rather than her chase target specifically. These were among the first Twisteds to apply Debuffs (alongside Twisted Rodger with Confused III and Slow III from his Capsule), followed by Twisted Shelly (Floor-wide Confused I) and Twisted Finn (Slow III on Machine completion). Twisted Bassie's flowers technically apply Slow III as well, though no visual indicator appears above the affected Toon.
- Her optimization update added a static overlay effect to both her Toon and Twisted forms, enhancing her television aesthetic. The Twisted version's static is more pronounced, fitting her deteriorated state. Her footstep sounds were also updated to match the new animations, similar to the treatment Twisted Pebble received.
- One of Twisted Vee's pop-up ads features the Dandy Plush advertisement with her face superimposed on it.
- During development, programmer Qwel referred to her internally as "The Roach."
- Twisted Vee has the fewest sound effects of any Main Character Twisted at 5. For comparison, Twisted Gourdy holds the record with 25.
- The "Don't forget to recharge!" animation shows that Vee requires batteries to power herself. Since her Twisted form presumably cannot or does not recharge, it remains unclear how she sustains power indefinitely. One theory is that the Ichor corruption or a virus keeps her in a permanent state of charge.
- The default Machine's Skill Check is obscured by Twisted Vee's pop-up ads, while other Machine types display their Skill Checks above the ads.
