Appearance

Twisted Gigi takes the form of a red gachapon machine clad in a baby blue turtleneck sweater with an oversized jumper bearing a yellow star icon at its center, mirroring the outfit of her original Toon counterpart. The plastic dome atop her head has shattered open and filled with dark Ichor, from which a massive Ichor claw extends upward like a grotesque appendage. Her sclera are a vivid red surrounding black irises, and rather than the standard red ring or dot found on other Twisteds, she sports distinctive star-shaped pupils that give her gaze an unsettling uniqueness. She drags herself across the floor using her oversized sweater sleeves, both of which are heavily stained with Ichor at the ends, leaving dark trails in her wake. Apart from her cracked head and corrupted sleeves, the rest of her body appears remarkably untouched by the Ichor's influence. Her default expression is a vacant, hollow grin, and when she locks onto a Toon during a chase, a single raised eyebrow appears above one eye, lending her a subtly menacing look.

Description

Twisted Gigi is a specially ranged Twisted in the same category as Twisted Goob and Twisted Scraps. When she spots a Toon, she can launch a long-range attack using the Ichor claw protruding from her shattered head. However, unlike her ranged counterparts, she only activates this ability when the targeted Toon is carrying Items in their inventory, snatching them in order from the first slot to the last.

Her movement speed places her above the average Twisted, matching Twisted Yatta at a chase speed of 19, which she shares with Twisted Astro, Twisted Bassie, and Twisted Eclipse. Combined with a lengthy 2.25-second attention span, she maintains pursuit for a notably long time before giving up, making her difficult to shake once she locks on.

On the first encounter with Twisted Gigi on any Floor, she will immediately attempt to use her grab ability, just like Twisted Goob and Twisted Scraps use their ranged attacks upon first sighting. Her grab does not deal direct damage but instead removes an Item from the player's inventory, making her threat more strategic than physical. If the player has no Items, she reverts to standard Twisted chase behavior and poses minimal danger. Her grab has a cooldown of 12 seconds, giving players a brief window of safety after each successful or failed theft attempt.

How to Deal With Twisted Gigi

Twisted Gigi demands careful attention thanks to her above-average speed and disruptive item-stealing mechanic. Each successful grab strips an Item from your inventory starting at the first slot, and repeated thefts will rapidly deplete your supplies and reduce your survival options. If you run out of Items entirely, she becomes no more threatening than a standard Twisted with only her melee chase. Be mindful that other dangerous Twisteds like Twisted Pebble, Twisted Vee, Twisted Scraps, and Twisted Goob may be active simultaneously, compounding the threat during distraction duty.

When distracting Twisted Gigi alone, loop tightly around cover so that her grabbing arm loses line of sight before the steal connects, allowing you to preserve your Items. If you must distract multiple Twisteds alongside her, it can sometimes be simpler to sacrifice your Items entirely, since the pause in her movement during grabs is unreliable and can disrupt your planned looping path by sending her in unexpected directions. Alternatively, protect critical Items like Health Kits by repeatedly filling your first inventory slot with disposable Commons such as Gumballs. Because Twisted Gigi always steals from the first slot onward, this buffer strategy prevents her from reaching your second and third slots where valuable gear sits.

Stamina management is critical when attempting to break away, as her chase speed of 19 outpaces most Twisteds. Execute multiple sharp turns around corners to force her to lose tracking. Given her high attention span of 2.25 seconds, prioritize breaking line of sight as quickly as possible by circling around islands and environmental obstacles. One notable quirk is that Twisted Gigi always attempts an immediate grab if her cooldown is available and you hold at least one Item, which paradoxically makes her one of the easiest Twisteds to escape from in a dead end since the grab animation stalls her forward movement. Keep at least one Item on hand when extracting near her to exploit this behavior.

Playing as Bassie is particularly effective against Twisted Gigi. Her Springful Sharing Ability lets her drop and rearrange Items freely, so you can place expendable Items in the first slot and valuable ones like Bandages, Health Kits, or Valves in later slots. You can also stash Items on the ground near the Elevator and wait until Panic Mode to retrieve them, or deliver disposable Items to your distractor as grab fodder to protect their more useful gear. If your team is unorganized, consider hiding stashed Items away from the Elevator in a concealed spot so they are not accidentally picked up by teammates who do not need them.

Bobette's Precious Packaging Ability provides full invincibility against Twisted Gigi's grab, allowing her to keep all Items safe for the duration. The long cooldown demands good timing, but Bobette can bait a grab attempt to give a distractor a head start or shield nearby teammates from losing their Items. Additionally, having Bassie, Cocoa, or Yatta on the team is valuable since all three can provide or deliver less valuable Items as fodder to protect more useful gear from being stolen. Cocoa and Bassie are especially effective in this role due to their high Stealth stats and ability to directly gift Items to distractors.

Despite her Ichor claw appearing large, the claw itself is excluded from her actual hitbox and cannot damage you on contact. However, her overall hitbox remains quite large because of her low crawling posture, so exercise caution when looping close to her body. Cardboard Armor can block her grab, but Smoke Bombs, Connie's Haunting Escape, and Blot's Blot Jr. cannot prevent the item theft. Notably, Soulvester's Passive Ability also does not block her grab, unlike the ranged attacks of other Twisteds like Twisted Goob and Twisted Scraps.
