Cooler Trinket Guide
Cooler is a Store Trinket in Dandy's World that grants 50 more Stamina at the cost of 5% lower Movement Speed. Formerly known as Water Cooler, it was first added on September 28, 2024 alongside Cardboard 'Armor', Lucky Coin, and Megaphone, then re-added as Cooler on July 3, 2025 alongside Research Map. It can be purchased from Dandy's Store for 2250 Ichor after traveling 250,000 Meters and picking up 30 Rare or higher tier Items.

Appearance
This Trinket appears to be a generic water cooler. It is red with a white lid and handles on the sides to grab. In the left-bottom corner, there are two Dandy logos, one big and one small. The old version was a blue generic water cooler without stickers and a white lid.
Strategies
The Cooler gives the equivalent of 2-star of Stamina, at the cost of slightly lowered Movement Speed. This is incredibly useful for low Stamina Toons including Gigi, Shrimpo, Soulvester, Yatta, and Gourdy, as well as Toons with low Movement Speed like Connie as the 5% Speed penalty will have little effect. You could use this on slower Toons like Vee, but using the simple Pink Bow and Speedy Shoes would work, and the Movement Speed loss could be detrimental against Twisteds like Twisted Shelly.
The debuff can be easily nullified by equipping Speedy Shoes, Dog Plush, Ribbon Spool, Clown Horn, or any other Movement Speed increasing Trinkets. However, Speedy Shoes alone still leaves you with a net -0.3% Movement Speed multiplier. Pink Bow paired with Cooler gives a 2.1% run speed multiplier, which is a better offset option for sprinters. With Dog Plush, Clown Horn, or Ribbon Spool, you will have a net multiplier of 4.5% walk speed, making those the strongest pairings for distractors. If you choose to distract with this Trinket equipped, prioritize walk speed boosting Trinkets.
Using Trinkets that increase Stamina regeneration or regenerate Stamina units can help fill up the significantly increased capacity more quickly. Peppermint Icing, Star Pillow, and Whispering Flower can all help maintain your higher Stamina, though their value depends on your Toon and playstyle. Without Stamina regen support, the extra 50 capacity can feel slow to refill between chases, especially on longer Floors.
Best Users and Practical Value
Cooler is strongest on Toons whose base Stamina is low enough that the flat 50 bonus represents a significant percentage increase. For a 1-Star Stamina Toon with 100 base, Cooler brings total Stamina to 150 — a 50% increase that changes how many sprints you can survive. For a 5-Star Stamina Toon at 200 base, the same 50 bonus only adds 25%, which is still helpful but far less transformative.
Gigi, Shrimpo, and Yatta are the classic best users because they combine low Stamina with roles or Movement Speed values that make the 5% penalty negligible. Gourdy and Soulvester also benefit heavily. Eclipse stands out as a special case — her Blackout Stamina bonuses stack with Cooler to reach extreme totals, hitting up to 496 maximum Stamina when combined with Friendship Bracelet, Well-Paced/Endurance Cards, and Twisted Dyle's Floor in an 8-player round.
If you are proficient at managing Stamina and rarely run dry during chases, you might not find much use for this Trinket. Players who rely on sprint-tap techniques and route optimization may prefer a Trinket that directly boosts extraction speed or movement instead.
Best Pairings and When to Skip It
Cooler pairs most naturally with walk speed Trinkets that cancel the 5% penalty and turn it into a net positive. Dog Plush, Ribbon Spool, and Clown Horn each provide enough Walk Speed to leave you at a comfortable 4.5% net gain while keeping the full 50 Stamina bonus. For scavengers who need to cover ground quickly, pairing Cooler with Speedy Shoes and Pink Bow creates a build that values raw mobility over walk efficiency.
Stamina regen Trinkets like Peppermint Icing, Star Pillow, and Whispering Flower complement Cooler well because they help fill the larger pool faster. Without regen, you may find yourself waiting longer to top off between encounters, which can slow your pace on multi-chase Floors.
Skip Cooler when your Toon already has high base Stamina and you would rather invest both Trinket slots in extraction speed, Skill Check tools, or defensive utility. On Toons like Vee or other slow movers, the 5% Movement Speed loss can be genuinely dangerous against fast Twisteds like Twisted Shelly, and the Stamina gain may not justify the risk. In lobbies where Machine completions matter more than chase survival, an extraction or research Trinket will usually return more total value.
Trivia
Cooler has notable history as a redesigned Trinket, along with detailed stat interactions at every star level.
- Despite a requirement being to 'Pick up 30 rare or higher tier Items', buying Items of these rarities in Dandy's Elevator Shop still counts towards completion.
- Using Cooler with Friendship Bracelet in an 8-player round without anybody dead, getting Well-Paced/Endurance Cards and surviving Twisted Dyle's Floor while playing as Eclipse in a Blackout will give you a maximum Stamina Stat of 496, without the use of other Items.
- Without relying on Abilities, players can use Blot, Bobette, Scraps, or Sprout with Cooler to reach 360 Stamina.
- Cooler is the second Trinket to be redesigned into a different Trinket — it used to be the Water Cooler (blue, no Dandy stickers). The first redesigned Trinket was Night Cap, which became Star Pillow. Unlike Night Cap, Cooler kept its original effect and only received a new design and name.
- Cooler was first added on September 28, 2024 as Water Cooler alongside Cardboard 'Armor', Lucky Coin, and Megaphone, then re-added as Cooler on July 3, 2025 alongside Research Map.
- Cooler's effect likely originates from the fact that coolers are heavy but can provide a source of hydration or cool you down.
- The Stamina gained from Cooler at each star level is: 1-Star 100 to 150, 2-Star 125 to 175, 3-Star 150 to 200, 4-Star 175 to 225, and 5-Star 200 to 250.
- The Movement Speed lost from the 5% penalty at each star level approximates to: 1-Star (10/20) drops to (9.5/19), 2-Star (12.5/22.5) to (11.875/21.375), 3-Star (15/25) to (14.25/23.75), 4-Star (17.5/27.5) to (16.625/26.125), and 5-Star (20/30) to (19/28.5) for Walk/Run respectively.
FAQ
How do you unlock Cooler in Dandy's World?
Cooler is purchased from Dandy's Store for 2250 Ichor, but also requires having traveled 250,000 Meters and picked up 30 Rare or higher tier Items. Buying Rare+ Items from Dandy's Elevator Shop counts toward the pickup requirement.
What Toons benefit most from Cooler?
Cooler is best on low-Stamina Toons: Gigi, Shrimpo, Soulvester, Yatta, and Gourdy. For these Toons, the 50 extra Stamina is a major upgrade, and the 5% Movement Speed penalty has little impact. Eclipse is also a strong pick because her Blackout bonuses stack with Cooler to reach extreme Stamina totals.
How do you offset the Cooler speed penalty?
Pair Cooler with Dog Plush, Ribbon Spool, or Clown Horn for a net 4.5% Walk Speed gain. Pink Bow gives a 2.1% Run Speed multiplier. Speedy Shoes alone still leaves a small -0.3% net loss, so it is better combined with another speed Trinket.
