Overview
The Warehouse is themed around a warehouse and parking garage, featuring gray concrete walls and many metal fences gating off sections of the map. All 3 variants share smaller rooms scattered around the map with desks and computers, along with lone boxes, wire fencing, various furniture, and soda dispensers. In one corner of each variant, cars and vans can be seen with Ichor puddles underneath.
All variants are bigger than most maps, with the largest (Variant 2) being the second largest in the game, just behind Astro's Floor. The floor contains a Vee and Glisten animation on one of the TVs found in the third variant. The license plates on the vans display Qwelver's username in leetspeak, written as "QW3L-V3R" (formerly "QW31-V3R" with an I instead of L).
Tips
The middle areas of most Warehouse maps are quite open, making Machine completion annoying as Twisteds can spot you easily. If team members have Vee's Remote or a Valve, it is highly recommended to ask them to complete the middle Machines first. The open areas can also be hazardous, especially in Blackouts or with Twisteds with large detection ranges such as Twisted Pebble, Twisted Brusha, or ranged Twisteds like Twisted Goob or Twisted Scraps. Extra care and caution should be taken when travelling in these areas, or take a longer but safer route around the better-sheltered side areas of the map.
This map also has many Machines in enclosed rooms, areas with low visibility, or thin corridors where escape is hard. It is recommended to have a survivalist Toon with higher Stealth to do these Machines, with Connie being the best option because of her Ability. Priming the nearest Machine to the Elevator is also highly viable, due to the sheer size of the map that makes heading to the Elevator a challenge for slower Toons, especially if they are far from the Elevator at the start of Panic Mode.
Trivia
Several notable details are documented about the Warehouse floor type.
- The license plates on the vans in the Warehouse display Qwelver's username in leetspeak, written as "QW3L-V3R." Before this, they read "QW31-V3R" with an I instead of an L.
- The windows of the vans are the only instance of the glass material being used in the game.
- The layout of the second warehouse variant was reworked in v0.3.0, with the Toon Handler portraits being removed and later re-added to the Greenhouse.
- Multiple parts of the third warehouse variant were reworked in v0.7.1, alongside Shelly's Floor and Gift Shop — the middle, middle side room, a reworked area connecting to one of the elevators, and the Glisten and Vee animation room were all reworked.
- In v0.12.1, the third variant was revamped again, opening up the garage and hallway, technically making it the most revised map in the game.
FAQ
What floor does the Warehouse appear on in Dandy's World?
The Warehouse is a rare floor type that appears from Floor 6+, though it is typically seen on higher floors. It has 3 variants, all bigger than most maps, with the largest being the second biggest in the game after Astro's Floor.
What are the best strategies for the Warehouse floor?
Use Vee's Remote or Valve items to do middle Machines first, as the open center is dangerous. Connie is the best Toon for enclosed room Machines due to her Ability. Prime the Machine nearest to the Elevator early to prepare for Panic Mode given the map's large size.
