Dandy's World Holiday Toons Guide

Overview

Holiday Toons are Toons that are only purchasable while their respective Event is active. Once purchased, they can be used in all runs even outside of their event period. They cannot be bought again once the event ends unless their event returns. Each Holiday Toon comes with an associated Holiday Twisted that spawns during the event. Holiday Toons require their event's Currency — Baskets for Easter, Pumpkins for Halloween, and Ornaments for Christmas — along with other potential requirements such as Research, a minimum number of unlocked Toons, or specific objectives.

Toon Rarity Patterns

Holiday Toons follow a consistent rarity structure across all events. Common Toons are enthusiasts of their holiday (e.g., Rudie likes Christmas), cost 300 Event Currency, have 3 Stars in all Stats, and have no interactions with Toons from different events. Most Common Toons have a Passive Ability, except Rudie.

Uncommon Toons are biologically related to a base-game Toon — Ginger and Cosmo are cousins, Flutter and Flyte are siblings, and Connie and Soulvester are twins. They cost 700 Event Currency plus 50% Research on their Twisted counterpart, and always appear on Staff Only Signs.

Rare Toons have animal-like designs with names that are actual words rather than alliterative descriptions (e.g., Coal resembles a dog). They cost 1500 Event Currency and a miscellaneous objective. All Rare Holiday Toons are female.

Main Character Toons own the event shop, share their design with the event Currency, and have 2 Posters. They cost 3000 Event Currency, 2500 Ichor, and 100% Research on their Twisted counterpart. Main Character Toons are all female except Gourdy, and all start with the letter B except Gourdy.

Stats Notes

Coal, Ginger, and Rudie were the first Toons that require no Ichor to obtain since all three released simultaneously. Cocoa, Flyte, and Eggson are tied for second for the same reason, and Eclipse, Ribecca, and Soulvester come third. Bobette originally had 5 Stars in both Skill Check and Stamina, but in v0.6.1 a poll in the BlushCrunch Studio Discord resulted in one Skill Check Star being moved to Movement Speed. Soulvester and Gourdy are the second Toons to have 5 Stars in 2 Stats. Bobette is tied with Scraps, Sprout, and Blot for the highest Stamina stat at 5 Stars.

Several notable facts are documented about Holiday Toons on Fandom.

• One Holiday Toon per event has a biological relative among base-game Toons. Ginger and Cosmo are cousins; Flutter and Flyte are siblings (older brother, younger sister); Connie and Soulvester are twin siblings.
• Due to the cancellation of the 2024 Halloween Event, there are 3 scrapped Holiday Toons: Harvey, Countess, and Duke. Their designs will never be revealed to avoid confusion about upcoming releases.
• Connie was originally a Holiday Toon from the cancelled 2024 Halloween Event, but became too popular to stay seasonal. Eclipse was made as her replacement. This makes Connie the first Holiday Toon to lose that title.
• All Holiday Toons have 2 interactions with other Toons released in their respective updates.
• All Main Character Holiday Toons talk with at least one other Main Character Toon.
• Eggson, Ribecca, Eclipse, and Soulvester are currently the only non-Main Character Event Toons to have Passive Abilities.
