Appearance

The icon appears as a bracelet with alternating square dark and light brown charms. Most of the cube charms are separated by star charms whose colors match Cosmo's freckles: seafoam, lavender, lime, and pale teal. There's half of a metal flower symbol charm hanging from the middle, split in such a way to resemble half of a friendship bracelet.

Strategies

Sweet Charm is convenient on Toons with high Ability cooldowns such as Gigi or Glisten. This can also help with their Masteries, as it allows the player to use their Abilities more in a shorter timeframe. This Trinket is most useful on Toons with survival-related Abilities, such as Bobette or Teagan, as they'll benefit from the reduced cooldown, being able to utilize their Ability in a pinch more often. This is especially applicable on later Floors with more risk involved.

Gigi can make good use of this Trinket as well, since she can more easily have extraction or survival items on hand. It's important to note that your inventory can get clogged up quickly, causing you to have to waste certain items if you want to continually use her Ability.

This Trinket can also be paired with Ghost Snakes In A Can for maximum cooldown reduction. Sweet Charm's reduction is applied first, so cooldowns are reduced by (C_old × 92%) - 5 = C_new. If you want to use only one Trinket to reduce cooldowns, Toons whose cooldowns are more than 62.5 seconds benefit more from Sweet Charm than from Ghost Snakes In A Can. Those Toons are Bobette, Gigi, Ginger, Glisten, Sprout, Squirm, and Teagan. Note that Bassie is the only Toon immune to Sweet Charm's effect, as her Active Ability already has 0 cooldown.

Best Users and Practical Ceiling

Sweet Charm is strongest on Toons whose Active Ability changes the floor when used a little more often. Bobette, Teagan, Gigi, Glisten, Sprout, and Squirm all get real value because their cooldowns are long enough that even a modest reduction can shift how many casts they get over a run.

The best way to judge Sweet Charm is not the percentage alone. Ask whether one extra cast on a dangerous floor would matter. If the answer is yes, Sweet Charm can outperform more generic stat trinkets.

When to Use It and What to Compare It Against

Use Sweet Charm when your Toon's identity is tightly tied to a long cooldown and you want more uptime without depending on random floor drops. It is especially good in deeper runs where a second emergency cast can save more value than a small stat bonus ever would.

Skip it on Toons with weak or irrelevant Active Abilities, very low cooldowns, or no Active at all. In those cases, raw movement, stealth, or extraction trinkets will usually contribute more. If you only want cooldown help, compare Sweet Charm against Ghost Snakes In A Can based on your actual cooldown length rather than defaulting to one.

Trivia

Sweet Charm is the counterpart to Savory Charm, and has unique properties related to cooldown ordering.

  • Sweet Charm appears to be the other half to Sprout's Savory Charm, most likely due to Sprout and Cosmo being best friends. The charms on each Trinket form a flower resembling Dandy's face when put together.
  • Sweet Charm's cooldown reduction is always done first before any other reducing effects, such as Rehearsal/Practice Cards or Ghost Snakes In A Can.
  • Sweet Charm, along with Savory Charm, is the second Trinket to be seen in an animation and to have a 3D model, being shown in Cosmo's idle quirk.
  • Sweet Charm's color doesn't change for any of Cosmo's Skins, not even his Vintage — the same applies to Savory Charm for Sprout.
  • Bassie is the only Toon immune to Sweet Charm's effect, as her Active Ability already has 0 cooldown.
