Blushy Bat Trinket Guide

Appearance
The icon appears as a small bean shaped bat with an ecstatic expression opening its white colored mouth that exposes its pink pointy teeth. It has pink fuzzy fur, rosy blush on its face, and a darker pink polka-dot pattern both under its wings and the inside of its pointy ears. It also has a pair of rice shaped feet. Blushy Bat was added on August 14, 2024 alongside Fishing Rod, Savory Charm, Sweet Charm, and Vanity Mirror. Concept art for the character dates back to December 6, 2022, well before its in-game debut, and the bat appears prominently in BlushCrunch's Discord server banners and emoji sets.
Strategies
Since Blushy Bat gives you 3 more seconds to flee from a Twisted, it helps in situations such as when you are low on Stamina. You are almost guaranteed to take a hit to escape, but Blushy Bat should help as it lets you regenerate Stamina and put more distance and walls between you and the Twisted. It is good for low Stamina Toons as well, due to their Stamina capacities being lower, causing frequent Stamina loss from sprinting. For example, if enraged Twisted Glisten or Twisted Pebble is chasing you and you run out of Stamina, this Trinket should help you escape easier on the extra 3-second downtime after it attacks. Blushy Bat also helps to combat the natural cooldown of most Main Twisteds, since their cooldown is naturally around 2.25 seconds. That means the Trinket effectively more than doubles the recovery window after a hit, turning a narrow escape margin into a comfortable one. Twisted Bobette is an exception with a natural cooldown of 5 seconds, so the extra 3 seconds on top of that makes the Trinket less impactful against her specifically.
This Trinket is only truly useful if you regularly take hits. If you are proficient at avoiding being damaged, this Trinket will be useless to you. Prioritize speed Trinkets if you want to increase survivability.
This Trinket is ineffective against hordes of Twisteds as the others will continue to chase you, though it does give you an opportunity to shake off the Twisted that attacked you, and it is likely the stunned Twisted is the faster one in the group, making escapes easier overall. It can also make it harder for Distractors to recover lost Twisteds or throw them off if they are not aware you have this equipped, resulting in unpredictable Twisted behavior. For these reasons, try to avoid using it in group runs and always warn your teammates when you equip it.
Blushy Bat synergizes with Poppy's Ability and is good for beginners that are just looking to get a feel for early Floors. Note that Blushy Bat's effects do not affect Blot's Blot Jr. decoy — the Trinket only affects Blot himself.
Best Users and Practical Value
Blushy Bat shines brightest for newer players and low-Stamina Toons who frequently find themselves caught during sprints. Because the Trinket is completely free — no Ichor, no Research, just a Roblox group join — it is the most accessible defensive option in the game and the natural first equip for anyone still learning floor layouts and Twisted patrol patterns.
Toons with limited Stamina pools benefit the most because their biggest risk is running dry mid-chase. The extra 3-second window after a hit lets them walk and regenerate enough Stamina for another short sprint burst, which often makes the difference between escaping around a corner and getting downed. Slower Toons that also have low Stamina get double value: they need to sprint more to keep pace and they run out faster, so the safety net matters more per hit taken.
For experienced players, Blushy Bat's value drops off sharply. Once you can consistently avoid hits through routing and sprint management, the Trinket provides zero benefit. At that point your Trinket slot is better spent on something that actively improves your run speed, extraction rate, or skill check performance rather than insuring against mistakes you rarely make.
Best Pairings and When to Skip It
Blushy Bat pairs naturally with Poppy because her Ability already revolves around surviving hits and recovering afterward. Equipping Blushy Bat on Poppy extends the post-hit window even further, giving her more time to use her healing and pull away from pursuit. This combination is particularly forgiving on early Floors where a single hit rarely ends a run.
For a purely defensive beginner build, Blushy Bat can sit alongside a speed Trinket like Speedy Shoes or Pink Bow. The speed item helps you avoid hits in the first place, and Blushy Bat covers you when avoidance fails. This gives a balanced safety net while you learn the game.
Skip Blushy Bat in organized group runs where Distractors are handling Twisteds. The unexpected stun can throw off a Distractor's routing and cause Twisteds to scatter unpredictably. In higher Floors with multiple Twisteds active at once, the single-target nature of the cooldown also becomes a liability — the Twisted you stunned may be the one your Distractor was managing, while the rest of the group continues chasing freely. If your lobby has reliable Distractors, a Trinket that improves extraction speed or movement will return more value for the team.
