Appearance

Twisted Teagan retains the general silhouette of her Toon counterpart but is visibly warped by corruption. Thick Ichor coats her mouth, the base of her body, and both arms, while her once-prized fur boa has vanished entirely. Her eyes have lost the relaxed, half-lidded quality of the original Teagan and instead radiate open hostility, framed by a dark brown shadow that sits between them. Both arms appear locked in a rigid, tensed posture rather than the graceful positioning seen on her Toon form. A thin film of Ichor creeps up the lower section of her teacup handle, and Ichor is also visible inside her head, placing her among a select group of Twisteds that share this interior corruption detail. Her formerly elegant floor-length dress has been reduced to a torn, ragged remnant, and the teacup she carries is no longer filled with sweet tea but instead brims with dark Ichor. During a chase sequence, one of her eyes gains a sharply raised eyebrow while both pupils contract to pinpoints, giving her face a distinctly predatory look that differs markedly from her idle expression.

Description

Twisted Teagan is the corrupted incarnation of Teagan, the refined teacup Toon, and was introduced to Dandy's World on July 12, 2024, alongside Twisted Flutter, Twisted Shelly, and Twisted Tisha. Classified as an Uncommon Twisted, she roams the hallways without following a predetermined patrol route, making her movements unpredictable for players who are trying to map safe paths through each floor.

Her signature mechanic revolves around Tape theft. Every time Twisted Teagan lands a hit on a Toon, she steals exactly one-fifth (20 percent) of that player's current Tape count. A hard floor of 20 Tapes applies to every theft, so players carrying fewer than 100 Tapes actually lose a larger proportion of their stock than the nominal 20 percent would suggest. This scaling penalty makes her progressively more dangerous as runs lengthen and players accumulate larger Tape reserves, and it is especially punishing for Toons whose Active Abilities require Tape expenditure such as Teagan herself, Sprout, Ginger (from v0.14.1 onward), and Blot.

On the stat sheet, Twisted Teagan moves at a walk speed of 10 and accelerates to a chase speed of 18.5 when she spots a player, which matches Twisted Flutter and makes her one of the faster Uncommon Twisteds. Her circular vision covers 26 units, her direct line-of-sight extends to 60 units, and her hearing radius reaches a wide 125 units, so careless sprinting can pull her attention from considerable distance. Her attention span of 1.75 seconds is relatively brief, meaning she will break off pursuit quickly if line of sight is lost, but her speed during the chase window demands immediate evasive action. Her personal Trinket, Fancy Purse, completely negates her Tape-theft mechanic when equipped.

How to Deal With Twisted Teagan

Twisted Teagan is a roaming-type Twisted that wanders hallways without a fixed patrol route, making her spawns and movements less predictable than Twisteds tied to specific zones. Her defining threat is the Tape-theft mechanic: every successful hit removes one-fifth of your current Tapes, with a hard minimum of 20 Tapes stolen regardless of how few you carry. Because the 20-Tape floor applies even when you hold only a small amount, getting hit while below 100 Tapes is disproportionately costly. Plan your movement so you are never caught in a dead-end corridor where her 18.5 chase speed can close the gap before you reach a junction. Always keep at least one turn or doorway within sprinting distance so you can break her line of sight before she closes the distance.

Her chase speed of 18.5 ties Twisted Flutter for one of the higher values among Uncommon Twisteds, so raw sprinting in a straight corridor will not create enough separation to escape. The key counterplay is exploiting her short 1.75-second attention span by ducking around corners and breaking her direct vision line. Once she loses sight of you, she resets almost immediately, but the margin for error is tight enough that hesitation during the first second of a chase can be fatal. Avoid triggering her 125-unit hearing radius unnecessarily by walking instead of sprinting when you suspect she is in an adjacent hallway, and use her circular vision range of 26 units as a guide for how close you can safely pass without alerting her.

Her personal Trinket, Fancy Purse, fully negates the Tape-theft effect, but equipping it is generally considered a poor trade. Losing 20 percent of your Tapes is an inconvenience rather than a run-ending catastrophe, and 100 Tapes can be reaccumulated quickly. You are almost always better served by a Trinket that provides broader defensive or utility value. The exception is niche scenarios where a specific Toon's Active Ability depends heavily on maintaining a large Tape reserve throughout the run, such as Teagan herself, Sprout, Ginger (v0.14.1 onward), or Blot. For those Toons, the insurance of keeping Tapes intact may justify the slot.

For team coordination, communicate Twisted Teagan's position whenever she is spotted so that Tape-rich players can reroute. Her 125-unit hearing radius is wide enough that sprinting through adjacent corridors will draw her attention even if she cannot see you, so walk when you know she is nearby. Players who have just completed a machine and are carrying a large Tape haul should be especially cautious, as a single hit at that point represents the largest absolute Tape loss. Conversely, players who have already spent most of their Tapes on abilities are low-value targets and can afford to body-block or bait her away from teammates who need their reserves intact. If your team plans to summon Twisted Dandy, Twisted Teagan's threat drops sharply because Tapes lose most of their practical value once the summoning sequence begins, though the Tape-dependent Toons mentioned above still need protection during the fight.

During Panic Mode and Blackout phases, Twisted Teagan becomes significantly harder to manage. Her already fast chase speed punishes any player caught in the open, and the reduced visibility of Blackout makes it much easier to stumble into her roaming path without warning. The designated distractor should keep at least two escape routes open at all times during these phases. Because her attention span remains only 1.75 seconds even in Panic Mode, breaking line of sight around a corner is still the most reliable reset method, but you must react within the first moment of a chase to make the turn in time.

When multiple Twisteds are active on the same floor, Twisted Teagan's roaming behavior can funnel you toward other threats if you are not careful with your pathing. Prioritize avoiding Twisteds with lethal or high-disruption mechanics first, and treat Twisted Teagan as a secondary threat whose Tape theft is painful but survivable. If she appears alongside Twisted Flutter, note that both share the same 18.5 chase speed, so the evasion tactics for one apply equally to the other. In crowded floors, staying near the center of large rooms gives you the widest set of escape angles and minimizes the chance that dodging Twisted Teagan sends you directly into the path of a more dangerous Twisted.

• In Teagan's dialogue with Rodger, she boasts about keeping her fur boa clean. True to her word, her Twisted form shows Ichor covering her arms and shoulders but no boa remains.
• Twisted Teagan and Twisted Shrimpo share similar Ichor distribution patterns. Both have Ichor concentrated on their mouths and arms while the rest of their bodies remain relatively clean. The back of Twisted Shrimpo's head and the bottom of Twisted Teagan's teacup handle also bear Ichor stains. This visual similarity is likely coincidental, though it could suggest they underwent a similar corruption process.
• Twisted Teagan matches Twisted Flutter's chase speed of 18.5 when pursuing a Toon.
