Twisted Flutter

Twisted Flutter differs significantly from her Toon counterpart. Her wings have turned black and now bear a gray heart outline with a slight dripping effect on both pairs, with their edges appearing jagged — potentially torn or corrupted. Her heart-shaped antennae have become sharp and pointed. Her legs and back are coated in Ichor, and her eyeshadow has become runny and translucent around her eyes. Like other Twisteds, she has red eyes with additional red circles within each iris, along with a purple shadow across her face. Her right eye twitches when she is actively pursuing a Toon.

Twisted Flutter has Stats comparable to an average Twisted, but her defining trait is her constant, near-chase-speed patrol with zero idle time. This demands constant vigilance and patience from players. She can disappear from an area briefly only to loop back to her previous patrol nodes almost immediately, since she has zero (0) frames of idle time. If you have average or below-average Movement Speed, use obstacles that block both her patrol path and pursuit angle, as she may abruptly lose interest only to catch you in her vision again, wasting the Stamina you spent fleeing. Her fast patrol speed means she can revisit the same location repeatedly, making Machine extraction time-consuming in those areas. For this reason, fast extractors like Gourdy or Yatta are particularly useful — completing Machines before she patrols into range is the ideal approach.

She is very easy to distract since her speed merely matches Twisted Teagan's, so her roaming mechanic poses no additional challenge to distractors.

During the Easter Event, a Spring Fever makes Twisted Flutter one of the most dangerous Twisteds alongside Twisted Flyte, as the Energized II Buff significantly increases her roam and run speed. She becomes faster than even Twisted Pebble while roaming, making her a serious ambush threat during open-area Machine extraction. Fortunately, the secondary Spring Fever effect (Dazed II) halves her attention span, making it easier to break free once spotted.

Completing 100% Research on Twisted Flutter unlocks:

• Twisted Flutter and her brother Twisted Flyte have virtually identical walk and chase speeds, with only a 0.5-unit increase when she begins chasing. Her speed essentially remains constant unless Panic Mode activates.
• Comparing the siblings directly, their speeds differ by only one unit, giving Twisted Flutter the highest Walk Speed of any Twisted, tied with Twisted Gourdy.
• Concept art depicted Twisted Flutter emerging from a hole in a wall with an elongated proboscis formed into a noose-like shape. How she would have originally functioned with these traits is unknown. This motif may have been reworked into Twisted Squirm.
• Like her brother in Twisted form, Twisted Flutter never stops during her patrol route.
• This also means she follows a unique route that covers more Floor locations than most Twisteds, sometimes even surpassing Twisted Tisha's coverage.
• Twisted Flutter, Twisted Tisha, Twisted Glisten (non-enraged), Twisted Flyte, and Twisted Soulvester are the only Twisteds with unique patrol routes.
• The semi-Holiday sibling duos for Easter and Halloween (Twisted Flutter, Twisted Connie, Twisted Flyte, and Twisted Soulvester) all fly.
• Twisted Flutter and Twisted Tisha have completely opposite mechanics — Flutter never stops moving during her patrol, while Tisha has the longest idle time in the game at 10 seconds.
