Description
Whispering Flower appears as two flowers connected to one another by a light green stem. The front flower is light pink with sharp edges and a slightly darker pink shading in the middle, along with three light green leaves under it. The second flower is behind the first, having rounder, droopy, light purple-blue petals. An eye with white sclera and a black pupil emerges from the center. It was added on April 18, 2025, alongside Egg Radar, Glazed Fondant Bag, and Scrapbook. It is confirmed that Whispering Flower was a gift from Delilah to Bassie, and that Delilah asked Cocoa to give it to her.
Strategies
Whispering Flower can be seen as an upgraded Thermos. Even though it is factor-reliant rather than constant, it has the potential to provide a more potent boost. This Trinket is useful on Toons such as Gigi and Yatta, who both have low Stamina and can produce items with their Abilities. It can also be useful for Toons with higher Stamina capacities like Bobette or Teagan, as it lessens full Stamina regeneration time.
You could pair Whispering Flower with Trinkets that give Items like Crayon Set, Pop Pack, or Megaphone to almost always have the Stamina regeneration active. Bassie synergizes very well due to her fourth inventory slot, increasing Stamina regeneration to 60% when all slots are filled. Another way to utilize this Trinket is by buying a Health Kit, Valve, and Bandage with Ichor at the start of the run to grant a total 45% Stamina regeneration boost. Be careful if Twisted Gigi is on the floor, as her Ability can quickly dwindle Stamina regeneration from this Trinket.
Trivia
Before v0.17.1, this Trinket highlighted all Items on the current Floor during Panic Mode. Using Whispering Flower and Thermos on Astro with 3 Items gives 150.1% Stamina regeneration, nearly the equivalent of a Protein Bar, or 6 Stamina/sec. The total regeneration given: 1 Item (15%) = 2.76/s; 2 Items (30%) = 3.12/s; 3 Items (45%) = 3.48/s; 4 Items (60%) = 3.84/s (only possible as Bassie). Whispering Flower is the first Trinket to change category after its rework, going from Other to Stamina. It is the first and currently only Trinket, and the third object in the game, implied to have some sort of sentience.
