Toy Kit Trinket Guide

Appearance

The Toy Kit resembles a red toolbox containing two cans of different shades of green paint on the inside. A wavy, lighter red line decorates every side of the box. Its handles or top flaps each have a round hole at the top. A red-handled paintbrush with white bristles and a green ferrule and a hammer with a red and green handle sit in front of the toolbox. A pool of lime paint has spilled under the paintbrush and part of the toolbox. The brush's tip is also covered in this paint.

Strategies

This Trinket can be helpful for Bobette and Brusha players who wish to focus on supporting their teammates, as this can help them reach targets from further away and/or reach more targets at once within an area. Brusha can help with Machines and Floor progression a bit further as she may be able to help more people at once, and Bobette could possibly aid in distraction (especially when paired with Diary) or help other Toons escape chases easier with the extended radius.

Currently, only Brusha and Bobette have ring-based Abilities that work with this Trinket. You should NOT use this Trinket on any other Toon besides the aforementioned ones.

Best Users and Why the Niche Still Matters

Toy Kit is one of the narrowest trinkets in the game, but it still matters because it meaningfully changes how Bobette and Brusha cover space. Bobette gets better rescue and disruption reach, while Brusha gets easier multi-target value around Machines and grouped teammates.

That means Toy Kit is not for general optimization. It is for players who already know they are committing to Bobette or Brusha utility and want the radius increase to affect real positioning decisions.

When to Run It and What to Compare It Against

Run Toy Kit when your plan is explicitly support-oriented and your value comes from covering more teammates or a larger zone. It gets better in coordinated groups where extra radius reliably hits real targets instead of just looking nice on paper.

Skip it everywhere else. Even on Bobette and Brusha, there will be runs where movement, stealth, or cooldown tools are more impactful than extra aura size. Toy Kit is only strong when the additional radius actually changes who you can reach.

Trivia

Toy Kit originally had a different effect when first released.

• Toy Kit would initially reset Ability cooldowns while in the Elevator. This was changed to its current functionality in the 2025 Christmas Event.
• When Toy Kit was first released as a cooldown-related Trinket, there was a bug where it allowed Toon Abilities to be spammed while in the elevator, allowing Shelly, Bobette, Tisha, Gigi, or Toodles to spam their Abilities and stack them. This bug was later patched.
• Toy Kit is the fourth Trinket that only benefits specific Toons, with the first being Sweet Charm, the second being Ghost Snakes In A Can, and the third being Peppermint Icing. Out of these, Toy Kit is the only one that doesn't benefit all Toons with Active Abilities.
