Description

Machine Manual is one of the usable Trinkets found in Dandy's World and is a Store Trinket. It can be bought from Dandy's Store in the Lobby for 350 Ichor.

A book which appears as a brown manual with the title 'Machine Manual' written over it and a dark brown flower resembling Dandy's face's silhouette in the center. There are lines meant to insinuate text below the title and there is a dark band across the book's spine.

Strategies

This Trinket is best used by Toons who want to do Machines but have a lower Extraction Speed, due to Extraction Speed not taking off as much time the higher that you go. Although using Skill Check-focused Trinkets such as Magnifying Glass and Participation Award is generally more advisable, if you are not proficient at hitting Skill Checks — especially while using Toons with low Skill Check stats (a prime example being Blot, who features poor Extraction Speed and Skill Check stats) — this Trinket may be a better option.

However, Stress Ball and Blue Bandana help in this situation better, with higher Extraction Speed boosts and a lowered chance to fail Skill Checks in Blue Bandana's case. Machine Manual could outdo Blue Bandana in some cases, particularly if a Toon has a higher Skill Check stat than Extraction Speed, but it would still be more efficient to choose Skill Check-focused Trinkets.

You could choose to use this Trinket with Stress Ball or Blue Bandana to stack larger boosts, though there are better Trinkets to pair with these. You may also use it on Toons who can consistently gain an Extraction Speed boost like Boxten or Squirm, but even when it stacks, the difference is modest.

This Trinket will subtract roughly 1-3 seconds from your extraction time per Machine depending on Skill Checks and Extraction Stats. As it can save up to a minute at absolute best per Floor (if one completes 20 Machines), it is outclassed by other Trinkets.
