Stress Ball is a Twisted Trinket in Dandy's World obtained by achieving 100% Research on Twisted Squirm. It increases Extraction Speed by 5% upon completion of a Skill Check, stacking up to a maximum of 15% and lasting 15 seconds per stack. It is considered a direct upgrade over Machine Manual.

Description
Stress Ball is a stuffed stress ball torn open on one of its sides, with stuffing coming out of the tear. It has a symmetrical pattern containing Squirm's color scheme, with a large section of mint at the top and bottom, two smaller symmetrical turquoise stripes, and a larger blue stripe in the center. It features triangular clusters of three dots within the stripes: blue in the bottom mint stripe, turquoise in the top mint stripe, and mint in the middle blue stripe. It was added on February 27, 2026.
Strategies
Stress Ball is considered to be much better than Machine Manual, basically being a direct upgrade. The maximum Extraction Speed boost achievable with extreme luck (for a meaningful duration) is 15%, which makes 5 Star Extraction Speed finish Machines in around 26 seconds (23.2 seconds with Tech Savvy). However, 15% will not always be achieved, as you still need to hit Skill Checks to gain the Extraction Speed, and hope that Skill Checks come rapidly enough to sustain it. On average, you will likely stay at around 10% or 5%, which is still more potent than Machine Manual and Blue Bandana in the former case.
Magnifying Glass is a good pairing, as it helps increase the value of completing each Skill Check, though the smaller size wastes some time having the bar reach the Skill Check. Participation Award is a better option because the increased Skill Check chance makes the boost more potent, keeping you at around 15% consistently. Toons such as Brusha, Gigi, Gourdy, Toodles, or Yatta can use their Abilities to gain or provide a Skill Check chance boost, while Toons like Boxten, Shelly, and Squirm can further amplify the boost by raising Extraction Speed.
Trivia
If used on Squirm while using his Distressed Delicacy Ability, Stress Ball will give 10% Extraction Speed per Skill Check rather than 5% for the duration, because Squirm's Active Ability also increases any existing extraction multiplier by 100%, essentially doubling the effect. Technically the highest boost possible from Stress Ball is 20%, however it can only last about 2 seconds, being meaningless due to the cooldown of Skill Checks preventing consistent high values.
