Description

Festive Lights is one of the usable Holiday Trinkets found in Dandy's World and is a Twisted Trinket. It was added on January 10, 2025, alongside Coal, Peppermint Icing, and Toy Kit. It was obtained by achieving 100% Research on Twisted Rudie.

The Festive Lights consists of five almond-shaped Christmas lightbulbs whose colors alternate between red and white on a black string with a curl at the end. They do not appear to be glowing but are also not visibly out.

Strategies

You can use this Trinket when trying to farm Ornaments, the Currency used for the Christmas Toons, Skins, and Stickers. However, this Trinket may not be one of the best picks as there are only two Ornaments that spawn per Floor. Using Pebble or Coal might be better alternatives; their Abilities will help you find the same Ornaments without taking up a Trinket slot.

As hunting for Ornaments takes time away from extracting and aggroing Twisteds, it is not very effective compared to other Trinkets for grinding. If you are able to find the spawned Ornaments on your own even some of the time, this Trinket becomes nearly worthless, so try to prioritize other methods.

Having one Toon with Festive Lights on could be better than most, or half the team having it on, due to the fact the user with Festive Lights could lead the other players to the Ornaments.

Outside of the Christmas Event, this Trinket has no use.

Trivia

• Festive Lights' 10 second cooldown was changed to 15 seconds for a short time, but it was changed back to 10 seconds.
• Past the Christmas Event, this Trinket has no use and will waste your Trinket slot.
• Festive Lights cannot scan other Event Currencies, such as Pumpkins or Baskets, as the description explicitly says it can only scan Ornaments during the Christmas Event. Bone Needle and Thread and Egg Radar share similar functions for other Events.
• Festive Lights is one of the first Holiday Trinkets, along with Coal, Peppermint Icing, and Toy Kit.
