Ornament Obtainment

Ornaments are the primary currency of the Christmas Event and can only be earned while the event is active. They function similarly to other Event Currencies like Baskets and Pumpkins, but are exclusive to the holiday season. There are several in-game methods to collect them, plus optional Robux purchases. The core gameplay loop rewards players for thorough Floor exploration: picking up spawnable Ornament Items, completing Machines, and even being spotted by Twisteds all contribute to your total. Ornaments earned from gameplay sources are boosted during special 2x Ornament weekends, effectively doubling your farming efficiency during those windows. When you collect Ornaments, the game plays the same audio cue used for store purchases, so you will hear a familiar chime each time your count increases. Any Ornaments you have left over after the Christmas Event ends will be removed from your account and will not carry over to the following year, so it is important to spend them before the event closes.

• Picking up an Ornament Item — 2 Ornament Items spawn on each Floor, awarding 5 Ornaments per pickup for a base of 10 per Floor.
• Completing a Machine — each Machine completion grants 5 Ornaments, rewarding players who focus on objectives rather than rushing to the Elevator. This applies to all Machine types including Circle Machines, Duo Machines, and Treadmill Machines.
• Encountering a Twisted — you receive 1 Ornament per Twisted encountered on each Floor, incentivizing exploration over avoidance. Note that stationary Twisteds such as Twisted Razzle and Dazzle, Twisted Glisten, Twisted Rodger, and Twisted Connie originally did not award Ornaments, but this was patched.
• Purchasing with Robux — four bundles are available: 99 Robux (300 Ornaments), 475 Robux (1,450 Ornaments), 925 Robux (2,950 Ornaments), and 1,500 Robux (5,000 Ornaments).
• Codes — two promotional codes granted Ornaments: 1BILLION (150 Ornaments, expired 1/17/25) and FESTIVEGIFT (150 Ornaments, expired 2/10/25).

What Ornaments Buy

The 2024 Christmas Event required 9,100 Ornaments to purchase every item in the shop. The 2025 Christmas Event dramatically expanded the available content, raising the total cost to 32,700 Ornaments for a full buyout. Because Ornaments disappear once the event ends, players who want everything need to plan their farming sessions carefully. Prioritizing the Toons you want most before buying cosmetic Skins is generally the recommended approach, since Toons provide gameplay advantages while Skins are purely visual.

2x Ornament Weekends

Periodically during the Christmas Event, the developers activate a 2x Ornament multiplier that doubles all gameplay Ornament sources for the entire weekend. This multiplier appears as a special icon in the Lobby and on the Mastery TV set. During a 2x weekend, the maximum earnable Ornaments per Floor (up to Floor 7) increases from 32 to 64, making these windows by far the most efficient time to farm. During 2x Ornament weekends, farming efficiency doubles on all gameplay sources, making weekends the best time to grind — especially for players with limited weekday availability. If you are farming solo, you collect all Ornament Items yourself without competition, but group runs generate more Machine completions per Floor since multiple players can work on different Machines simultaneously.
